Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2016/04/02) */ Customer contracted Northeast Asphalt to mill 2" of surface asphalt and resurface with 2" of new asphaltThe customer only wanted work to be done on certain designated daysThe milling was completed as contracted and then the project was delayed due to rain and then a shortage of available trucking on the days the customer designated work to be doneAfter only two weeks delay the customer decided to find another company to complete the work Northeast Asphalt Maintenance takes great pride in completing work in a satisfactory fashion for our customersTo date, this is the only job that we have not completed for any reason and it was because the customer could not understand the issues at playYou cannot pave in the rain and there were issues of trucking for every paving company in because of back-ups (delays) caused by the rain Northeast Asphalt retained the deposit paid to them by this customer because of the work we had already completedThere were no issues with any damaged water cover or "well" as described by the customerThis was only brought up when the customer realized he could not receive a refund of his deposit(Small water covers cost approximately $to replace.) They picked up the rainy days to do the asphalt intentionally .it did not rain for weeks(all days) and arranging for the trucks was his problem .he should not have bid the job if he could not get trucks.he did damage the well and I did get the estimate for dollars it could be faced if neede.I think he spent the money somewhere else and then did not had the money to complete the work and later he said he will return dollars and even they money has been never returned I have his text massage as proof.the work he has done was worth dollar .I got the estimate from somebody else for the work he has done it was dollar.according to him he did not my business and I lose nothing .how it's possible that your parking lot is tore up and you expect somebody to come to your business

Northeast Asphalt Maintenance takes great pride in completing work in a satisfactory fashion for our customers. To date, this is the only job that we have not completed for any reason and it was because the customer could not understand the issues at play. You cannot pave in the rain and there were issues of trucking for every paving company in 2015 because of back-ups (delays) caused by the rain.
Northeast Asphalt retained the deposit paid to them by this customer because of the work we had already completed. There were no issues with any damaged water cover or "well" as described by the customer. This was only brought up when the customer realized he could not receive a refund of his deposit. (Small water covers cost approximately $45 to replace.) The customer did not shut down operations at any time and therefore did not lose any business. We feel that it is quite unfortunate that this customer was upset the work was not completed within the time frame he wanted.
