Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I paid $on 1/10/for flea treatment and
general pest control (but the flea treatments require visits, at least
weeks apart). The 2nd appointment on 1/31/15, was the foll
flea treatment, scheduled for weeks later, which I had already paid for
as part of the original treatment. I never agreed to an ongoing
contract verbally or in writing at any point.
I received phone call after phone call, to schedule additional services
(on 3/31, 4/17, and 4/29), which I never responded to at any
point. On 4/I received a phone call from a technician that he has
sprayed the outside of my house while I was not home. Let alone the
fact that I did not request or agree to this service, I have a 16ftwide
townhouse to which only the front would have been available for spraying (which
I can obviously do myself in about seconds) The business owner acted
totally unprofessionally when I asked him to cease and desist. He is
making up his own terms as he goes along.
For future reference, you need a
contact to perform contract work... that's the whole point of having a
contract. You can't just show up to a location, spray the perimeter, and
then send someone an unsolicited
bill. That is called fraudulent billing.

To whom this may concern, - The customer that placed a complaint against Northeast Exterminators is trying to get out of paying a bill. She agreed verbally to a quarterly service in January 2015. We went out on January 10th 2015 and started her service. Than our technician did a second service on...
January 31st for no charge. There are 90 day guarantees for contract customers only. Our contract is an exterior service to keep insects from entering a home. Customers also have the option for our technicians to spot treat the interior if they prefer. The contract comes with a 90 day guarantee between services. So if she was only getting a onetime service there would have been a charge for the second service and she was aware of this. She was scheduled for service April 30th 2015 and was called the night before stating if there was a problem with her scheduled service than to call us back to reschedule. We did not receive a call. At no point did said customer call to cancel service. The customer may cancel the contract at any time as there are no cancelation fees however we are a business and the customer is responsible for paying for the service that was done. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at ###-###-####.Regards,

I am rejecting this response because: I paid $160.92 on 1/10/15 for flea treatment and
general pest control (but the flea treatments require 2 visits, at least 2
weeks apart). The 2nd appointment on 1/31/15, was the follow-up
flea treatment, scheduled for 3 weeks later, which I had already paid for
as part of the original treatment. I never agreed to an ongoing
contract verbally or in writing at any point.
I received phone call after phone call, to schedule additional services
(on 3/31, 4/17, and 4/29), which I never responded to at any
point. On 4/30 I received a phone call from a technician that he has
sprayed the outside of my house while I was not home. Let alone the
fact that I did not request or agree to this service, I have a 16ft. wide
townhouse to which only the front would have been available for spraying (which
I can obviously do myself in about 10 seconds). The business owner acted
totally unprofessionally when I asked him to cease and desist. He is
making up his own terms as he goes along.
