Business' Response of the Problem:Item#We have always strived to have our subcontractors more than follow through on any of our logjobsI never said that we would remove all tops, logs, brush, or other obstructions, as that is impossible to doAnyone who is educated or understands the logging business knows this to be trueWe spent approx days cleaning up roads and also paid to have [redacted] driveway smoothed with crushed stone as an extra favor for himThe subcontractors aske two times as they were having a drink on [redacted] porch if everything was pleasing to himHis response, "We walked property and it looks good." Again we asked and received the same response before leaving! I personally responded by phone and text to some absolutely nasty off the wall accusations and was shocked at [redacted] behavior after receiving $9,for a woods that we actually cut for himI was told when we first met that he [redacted] l received approx $2,from a local logger 10-years earlier for very mature cherry treesI will not continue to be harasses verbally over the phone or through texts, (which I saved) with [redacted] l.We have numbers of happy satisfied customers that know how we at Northeast Hardwoods leaves our jobs and landings.Item#2Northeast Hardwoods uses subcontractors for the harvesting of our TimbersThis is a common practice in the Logging/Lumber fieldOn all of our jobs we require our subcontractors to be insured up to million dollars! The landowner along with us as a company are sent a "insurance Binder" before Harvesting beginsWe have no employees as subcontractors work for themselves and this is clearly understood not only in this industry but Nation wide [redacted] was given 50% of Hardwood logs and 25% of softwood logsWe even paid him for firewood and low grade logs to go above and beyond! I don't have to even respond to [redacted] statements on how we pay our truckers or subcontractors, but will [redacted] ls numbers are way off and business wise if I/we spent $2,for trucking logs hours away (not 1/as stated), we wouldnt be in business longWe at Northeast Hardwoods dont make mush money on the Log side but on the lumber side, when manufacturedOn s job we made very little on the log side just to be upfrontNortheast Hardwoods paid [redacted] l almost four times the amount he received from his last Harvesting!! Which was far better quality wiseI gladly would sit down with [redacted] l and feel we went out of our way to please him.We at Northeast Hardwoods never received a complaint or did the subcontractor until [redacted] called me personally at the end of this jobI told him respectfully not to assume he knew how to run a logging/lumber business or operationTo accuse or make statements that you have no reason to make about others is simply put wrongLastly, our numbers as a business concerning profits are very respectable and fairSimply ask our other customers we serve.Desired Settlement:A verbal apology for the several insults by [redacted] and untrue statementsI would personally meet with him and come to a reasonable agreement to fix up any possible messHowever, we were told two times everything was good and my subcontractors can attest to that if need be?

business knows this to be true. We spent approx 4 days cleaning up roads and also paid to have [redacted] driveway smoothed with crushed stone as an extra favor for him. The subcontractors aske two times as they were having a drink on [redacted] porch if everything was pleasing to him. His response, "We walked property and it looks good." Again we asked and received the same response before leaving! I personally responded by phone and text to some absolutely nasty off the wall accusations and was shocked at [redacted] behavior after receiving $9,758 for a woods that we actually cut for him. I was told when we first met that he [redacted]l received approx $2,500 from a local logger 10-12 years earlier for very mature cherry trees. I will not continue to be harasses verbally over the phone or through texts, (which I saved) with [redacted]l.We have numbers of happy satisfied customers that know how we at Northeast Hardwoods leaves our jobs and landings.Item#2Northeast Hardwoods uses subcontractors for the harvesting of our Timbers. [redacted]ls numbers are way off and business wise if I/we spent $2,000 for trucking logs 2 hours away (not 2 1/2 as stated), we wouldnt be in business long. I told him respectfully not to assume he knew how to run a logging/lumber business or operation. To accuse or make statements that you have no reason to make about others is simply put wrong. Lastly, our numbers as a business concerning profits are very respectable and fair. Simply ask our other customers we serve.Desired Settlement:A verbal apology for the several insults by [redacted] and untrue statements. I would personally meet with him and come to a reasonable agreement to fix up any possible mess. However, we were told two times everything was good and my subcontractors can attest to that if need be?
