Northeast Labor Supply Reviews (3)

Queens Chapel Citgo Queens Chapel Rd Hyattsville MD ***Revdex.com Serving Metro Washington DC and Eastern Pennsylvania Dear Marcia:RefD ***On 9/9/*** *** *** brought a new rim, a valve stem (regular) and a new tire to the shop and asked to install the valve on the rim,
mount the tire and install the wheel on his vehicle, Service was performedAnd then he gave the mechanic a damaged rim (broken) to just remove the tire from it because he needs the rim for core chargeService was performed alsoDuring this time *** *** was standing in the shop observing the job being done and the TPMS or TPMS sensor was not discussed what so everThe bill was written just for the service that was rendered nothing more,He paid the bill thanked the mechanic and drove off.About two hours later he came back with a used TPMS sensor which had missing components (seal, *** valve and valve cap) and asked us to install the sensor for himHe was told in order to install the used senor on the rim for him it needs a TPMS repair kit if, he guarantees that the sensor is goodThen he left.On Monday 9/11/a lady that we believe was *** ***'s mother stopped by the shop with the same olds TPMS sensor and she was told the same thing. Our shop does not install used TPMS sensors without a repair kit or new seals and customer guarantee that the sensor is goodBecause of potential air leak.RegardsES Queens Chapel Representative09/20/

From *** *** second concern appears that he knowingly brought a used and bad TPMS Sensor to our shop to be installed on his vehicle. This is the very reason that we do not install used or transfer TPMS sensor from wheel to wheel without a repair kit and customer's guarantee that sensor is OK.Secondly *** *** has never told us why he had to replace the rim and the tire but not the TPMS sensor.Obviously, the car hit a pothole or a curb by such a force that split the rim, damaged the tire and damaged the TPMS sensor. Also he writes that the TPMS sensor was working before but, he does not mention before or after the tire and rim got damagedAnd why the TPMS indicator Fight was on when he came to the shop for the first time.We like to know how *** *** knew that the TPMS sensor still was viable after the impact since part of the rim was broken off, tire was damaged and deflated, wheel was off the vehicle and the TPMS indicator light was on.As I stated last time the service charge was only for mountant install one tire on the vehicle and dismount a damaged tire from a broken rim that he wanted to return for core, all customer partsAnd customers bear the responsibility for their own parts, No TPMS sensor was discussed.RegardsES Queens Chapel RepresentativeOct/03/

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
*** ***As I said in my original statement the mechanic who serviced my vehicle asked if the vehicle has a sensor when myself and (HIM) walked to my vehicleI assumed he knew what he was doing I'm no mechanic nor do I pretend to be, but these guys damaged the sensor when removing the old tire from the wheel which cost another $which I believe should be refunded buy the shopThis sensor was fully functional until they touched itSo that's a grand total $cost for a job that was not done correctly
