Northeast has been providing fertilization services for 15+ years. We offer our clients a satisfaction guarantee when we handle their property for the entire season and allow us to perform the entire program. Because of this we do not generally take clients on mid-season. The
client called looking for our services. We advised what a price would be for a full season but also advised we prefer not to take clients on midseason due to the fact we cannot control what has already happened and we were already 3/of the way into our treatment program. Further the client advised that they didn't want to go with the recommended services and wanted to pick only one or two applications. We advised her that we don't break up our program because we offer a guarantee and can only be accountable if we have control from the start of the season. As a courtesy we directed her to other companies (*** & TrueGreen) who would take her at this point in the season and would let her take on just a single application. This was done as a professional courtesy and not to upset her
She called the office several times and was told the same thing. She seemed quite upset and felt this was being done for personal reasons. We advised here there were no personal grievances as to why we did not want to take her business but simply because it was too late in the season and therefore we weren't a good fit
