Northeast Medical Group

I have received collection letters from Northeast Medical Group stating that "two bills have been sent to you and your account has now been listed for collection". I received one bill and this was paid directly by my health savings account 10 days later. I never received a second bill nor should I when the first one was paid within 10 days. Northeast Medical Group is the most incompetent billing service I have ever had to work with. I have done medical billing for 37 years and am appalled at the way the representatives conduct themselves-totally clueless and the supervisors are just as clueless! To think that they represent [redacted] and the doctors affiliated with [redacted] is a disgrace!

Review: I have tried my best to resolve this with a representative at NEMG but they have failed to keep their word to help me for months. NEMG sent the wrong policy number to my secondary insurance three times, resulting eventually in $90 worth of co-payments due. After trying to convince me that it was my fault they had the wrong number (I've had the same policy number since 2005), I finally found a representative who called my insurance company for confirmation that they had sent the wrong number and they were now untimely claims. I made a $30 payment towards the balance due in fear it would go to collections because I could not get a representative to fix my account for months. Only after I made the payment did a representative finally agree the $90 was not my responsibility and had her "lead" clear the remaining $60 balance from my account. For weeks I have left multiple voicemails for Amy who told me over and over again she would talk to her lead about me getting my $30 refunded to me that I did not owe in the first place. I have been lied to from her many times, have not received my refund or even so much as a returned phone call. My whole experience with this billing issue has left a sour taste in my mouth with NEMG billing. I want my $30 refunded to me immediately. It is not okay that I was talked down to and lied to by representatives at NEMG and have had to waste so much time chasing after representatives who never return my call.Desired Settlement: I want my $30 payment refunded made 7/29/2015.
