Mr *** contacted the nursery and wanted only to speak with the owner, who was unavailable. Generally any manager can handle a customer complaint. I aplolgize for not meeting our customer's expectation of excellent customer service. On
August 17, *** Parent, the store manager, was able to speak directly with Mr***. Mr*** agreed to remeasure his stacked cord and give the measurements to *** ***. Once he receives the measurements, *** will send Mr *** any discrepancy in the firewood delivery of July 19,

Thank you NE Nursery for the offer to replace my dead shrubs at wholesale cost. However, I cannot afford to pay for replacement shrubs in addition to the cost of buying them in the first place. The guarantee period is between * *** and NE. I was told by * *** that it was months. I would not have purchased shrubs in September that had a month guarantee. That is not even going through one growing season. * *** said that he fertilized the shrubs and I watered them every day that it did not rain. The street was completely repaved and new sidewalks were installedI do not recall seeing any sewer or gas lines being involved in the project. I contacted * *** on March 13, 2014, at least weeks before the month guarantee ended. I told him that some trees looked like they were dying. * *** said he contacted ME on Mar 19, 2014, about the problem and NE asked to wait until we got some degree weather to see if they would green up. That seemed and reasonable. * *** added that NE said he put a note in; the file saying that al the shrubs he purchased had no issues h knows of and it's not * ***'s or my fault and he will warrantee the shrubs longer.
Regards,
*** ***

After responding to the original complaint, we were able to contact and speak with our customer, *** *** ***. He informed us the plants in question made it thru the winter fine. He stated the arborvitae were planted correctly and prior to any new road and sidewalk construciton. He noted there were new sidewalks, gas and sewer line construction, and newly paved streets in front of the homeowner's house. Over two year's time the shrubs kept dying off. He advised the customer of these issues and concluded he would not warranty them because it was not anything he did wrong. We do not know how the shrubs were watered or fertilized but believe the environmental conditions played a factor in their demise
Our professional warranty to *** *** *** is for days. *** *** *** never sought out replacements for the shrubs Mr.*** lost. We feel badly Mr*** was unable to be satisfied by his landscaper, who is ultimately the responsible party for this complaint, none the less. Our resoulution to this issue is to offer Mr*** wholesale pricing for the shrubs he would like replaced. Mr*** can contact *** ***, retail nursery manager at ***

Tell us why here...As noted in Mr***'s complaint, the shrubs were purchased by *** *** *** in 2013. Our warranty to professional landscapers is three months and is limited to the original purchaser. We supplied the shrubs to *** *** ***, our
customer. Not sure why we are receiving this complaint when Mr*** is *** ***'s customer

NE Nursery says they have a month guarantee on shrubs. The shrubs were planted in September. Their month guarantee was entirely within a no growth period of time. Don't most nurserys have a year guarantee? I was told there was a month guarantee. I would not have accepted the shrubs with a month guarantee, especially starting in September. Based on my understanding of a month guarantee period I contacted the landscaper weeks before the month period was up to tell him that some trees were dying.. He contacted NE Nursery who asked him to wait a while to see if the trees would green up. Also, landscaper said Nursery said "it wasn't landscapers fault nor my fault. Don't worry, just let me know what you need". That sounds like a typical response from a nursery. Later that changed to just three trees and evidently changed again to no trees. It seems to me that the Nursery reneged on his word to replace the trees that died. I relied on the good faith premise that NE was better than that. I still think that NE Nursery should replace the shrubs that died.?
