Northeast Quartz Reviews (1)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] As the customer I absolutely viewed the slab of granite I bought and signed the aforementioned "viewing disclosure"However, this has no relevance as it is not what my complaint is referring toI received the slab I selected and I in no way have a problem with any "natural stone characteristics" nor do I have an issue with the pattern or tone of the granite matching up at the seamsWhy this is being brought up is puzzling to meThe edge of the granite fabricated by Northeast Quartz is clearly and unnaturally white in color around the entire double ogee edge (as soon in the previously attached picture)The rest of the slab maintained its beautiful natural stone characteristics including variations in color, shade and surface irregularitiesAll of which are reasons why a customer would be interested in purchasing a granite countertopOnce again my issue is with the poor craftsmanship of the edge that was cut into and fabricated by Northeast QuartzThe edge did not receive the proper amount of Ager product which helps to enhance the color of the stone after it is cut into This was recognized by the manager when I immediately contacted him with my dissatisfaction on (email attached)The manager came to my house, because of my complaint, not because of any "customary" wax clean off or to "reseal" the edge or topAt my house, in my presence, the manger explained to me that the edge can become a white/lighter color than the rest of the slab when it is cut intoThe edge is then to receive a product to enhance the colorHe explained that in the factory where the slab is fabricated the lighting can sometimes throw the fabricators off and they do not put enough product on the edge before the granite is sealed He then said he will send an employee over to my house to try and "darken the edges" An employee of Northeast Quartz did show up to attempt to darken the edges, but once again as previously stated, upon his arrival he explained that what he was about to do will probably not work as the granite was already sealedThe worker attempted to use steel wool on the edges and darken them with an Ager productThe edge did appear darker when the worker left and paperwork was signedUnfortunately to my dismay when the product dried completely the edge returned to a lighter white colorAs it turns out it only appeared darker due to the moisture of the productIt is a shame when a company does not stand by its craftIt is also unfortunate that Northeast Quartz is attempting to write this complaint off as a "natural stone characteristic"I believe a refund is deserved hereThis complaint is not referencing a "natural stone characteristicIt is due to poor craftsmanship In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]
