Review: My 2013 Avalon was brought to Northeast Southeast Auto Repair shop on October [redacted]2013. The owner of this shop is referred to as [redacted]. He has conned me out of $6300 without finishing the repairs to my car. After making an initial deposit of $5000 against the repairs, he strung me along for 3 months only to find out that he inflicted further damage to my car. He shattered my windshield and crushed the roof of the car. I even involved the police, who said that they could not do anything because it is a civil matter. He forced me to give him an additional $1300 to have my car released to me. After 3 months he only fixed the body of the car. I received the car back with parts missing for one, but I am also driving my car without seatbelts, or airbags. This is very unlawful and unsafe. His total estimate is $6500 and he has not complete the agreed upon job and does not answer his phone.Desired Settlement: I am looking to get $2500 back to cover the cost buying the new parts, installing my airbags and buying the new seatbelts. All things he was supposed to handle. Your help would be greatly appreciated because it has been a nightmare dealing with this guy.
