I am rejecting this response
because: I asked for help with the money that we had available, we explained our situation and was told by *** that he would get car running to get to work The day I picked up the car I looked to see if anything was doneAll *** did was put tape over the burnt wire that made the car not runThat he charged us forHe knew our situation and could have left us aloneBut instead he robbed us of the little money we hadI could not drive the car at all after I drove it from the shopI missed a day from work which was my overtime dayI had to immediately go that day and get anew vehicle to keep my jobI understand if *** thinks he is entitledto money for towing and looking at our carBut is it right to rip off a single mother with a feeding tube baby just trying to keep her jobHe robbed me of $200. and did nothing to my carIt is wrong all day and I will when time permits gather hundreds of compassionate people and call The News networks and see how the Mass public feels about his Policies.. You can not just lie and steal from everybody and get away with itHe picked the most vulnerable to rob and I want the world to know it!!!!

Review: On January 24 2014 I walked into Northeast Speedometer to ask for help with my daughter's car that would not start.I told a man named [redacted]

the details of what work had been done and now it would not start. I told him it seems to be a problem with wires, it started smoking when she tried to start it to drive to work. He told me he would pick it up and see what the problem was. This was on a friday and he could not look at it until saturday. When he did look at the car on saturday he told my daughter my daughter she needed to replace all the wiring. And he would charge her between three and five hundred dollars to complete the job. She immediately got very quiet and the told him she could not afford to pay that much. He told her he would hold car until monday. On Monday I when back around the corner to the shop and spoke with [redacted]. The first thing I told him was we don't have that kind of money. My daughter is twenty five years old with ababy sick on a feeding tube paying 900.00 a month rent and all bills by herself because I am just off unemployment with no job!! He said he could help us. I told him very candidly and specifically that my daugher worked in [redacted] almost an hou ride from our house. And that we don't have money to throw away or just give for nothing. He told me he would FIX her car so she would be able to go back and forth to work. We had what I called A verbal agreement--- Meaning he said he would Fix her car so she could keep her Job.. I am talking about the problem that he found when he came to get the car. The wiring. He did not say I will do a half hearted job because you guys are poor and don't have what it is really worth. He said to me with a smile he would fix her car. I believed him and went home . When I called on Tuesday and said she had the two hundred he told me it would be ready tomorrow, When I went to pick up car, He looked at me and said no GAURANTEE ON THE WORK. I asked what did that mean. He said he did a two hundred dollar job. If she had paid him five hundred he would have done a five hundred dollar job. I was so shocked because I pled our case to him to not rob a young lady with no father, brother or uncle to help her at all. He basically told me it could break down when I get it around the corner.WHY DID HE MAKE ME THE PROMISE. WHY DID HE TAKE HER MONEY. THE RECEIPT THAT HE GAVE ME is a disgrace. I just do not believe it is right to treat people like this. We were honest with him. If he had said He would do a half job that he would not guarantee would I have left the car in his care and said fix it? Absolutely notDesired Settlement: want a refund
