WENT DARK WITH $9000
I should have read and listened to your negative reviews Tom. Your company never showed up to do the project, and still have not refunded my money. I wrote the $9000 check 6/30 and have not seen a penny from you back yet. I have filed a Civil Case against you in the Clinton MA Courthouse and submitted a BBB Complaint. Please refund my money so I can move on from this.

Went dark
I am having difficulties hearing back from John the owner. He cashed my $9,000 deposit check weeks ago, and has missed the start date of 7/19/23. I was not notified of the delay until the actual start date of 7/19. I afforded John many opportunities to be honest with me, as he had things come up that caused the delay.

As of now I have not heard back on any of my calls or texts for the past three days. Initially on the start date he offered my money back, but since I am so far behind at this point I cannot start over with a new company.

I am just hoping to hear back and they get started soon.

Poor workmanship, did not deliver product and installation as promised, failure to correct problems expressly covered in warranty.
BUYER BEWARE! I did not pay attention to past reviews and my project was a complete disaster. A few weeks after installation last May, I began having significant problems with the turn ultimately blowing off in a windstorm last October. After over 80 text messages since he would not answer my phone calls, and threatening him with a lawsuit, he finally came back two week ago to reinstall the turf. This re-installation was no better as it is already coming up, there is a large noticeable seam that impacts the putting surface and the cups are crowned. He will no doubt respond to this as he did with other similar reviews by saying I was unreasonable in my expectations.

Desired Outcome

Since I need to hire another company to come in and remove the turf and replace, I am seeking a complete refund of all fees paid.

We ve built completed two golf greens for Mr Roy . We ve built over 2500 residential golf greens we are in our 20 th year & can provide a 100 referrals at anytime . I spoke to Mr Roy regarding this complaint & have agreed to re surface / re do his golf green for the third time ! I personally will be there the entire time as owner of the company . I m doing this to resolve the issue personally I thought the first green was fine . I wish I could post pictures . It s one of our featured green pics in advertising . Paid $5,000.00 as deposit on $10,000.00 backyard green in Oct 2018. Still no green or money back.
Tom came to my house and quoted me $10,000.00 on a backyard putting green. He required 50% deposit of $5,000.00 which I gave him back in Oct 2018. Green was supposed to be installed by Thanksgiving last year. Kept putting it off on bad weather at the end of the year. Now, still no green or my money back. Have texted back and forth with him saying he ran into financial trouble and that he got screwed by an auto dealership, blah blah blah. Was supposed to get me my money back. Still have not seen a dime. Over a year now.

I just want my $5,000.00 back!

We tried to install the green on three separate occasions . Mr Dion deposit was 1/3 of the project cost and did not even cover all the turf materials . Our position is we would like to install the golf green or he can have the turf materials . Because of the custom assembly of the product we give a ten day cancellation policy . We can also put in writing an install deadline date & if it s not installed by the date we ll give him back half his deposit . Thank Tom Owner. 19 years

He is lying and I have the texts to prove it. He missed the originally scheduled date and then procrastinated until it was too cold and wet to do it at the end of the year. He told me I would be first on the list for following season and kept blowing me off until I told him I wanted my money back. He even said at one point that he would still try to install and I said okay as long as it was in the next couple of weeks. He agreed and then proceeded to blow me off again. At this point I would not trust him to install anything at my house now. As far as deposit, quite was for $10k and I gave him $5k. That's fifty percent in my book. Even texted with him just before Christmas and he assured me I would get my money back. Still nothing. Doesn't the AG look into these types of things when you have repeated customers saying the same thing?

Thomas M is the owner of this company. I am very sorry I did not do my research before calling him. He came to my house and gave me a quote for a turf installation and then pressured me to get my 50% deposit in right away so he could schedule the installation quickly. Not only did he not install within the contracted timeframe - he strung me along for over a year. He then promised to refund me my deposit of almost $5000 but has never paid me a dime. His deceitful and disgraceful business practice caused me many months of worry and stress. No Turf and no refund. He used every excuse in the book. Please do not make the same mistake. Avoid Northeast Synthetic Turf and this man.

Paid 1375 deposit for work back in March 2018, have been put off repeatedly. Now refund of deposit is not being processed.
Company is now called NewEngland Synthetic Turf.
Most likely to deflect the fact that they have scammed others previously under the previous company names.
All of the complaints online seem identical to mine.
Met with owner in March and gave him a deposit check for installation of sports net in yard. Started text and phone contact to set up actual date of installation in early April. Have long string of text messages describing why the job is being put off. I finally lost patience this month and asked that the supplies that he said he had already obtained be delivered. That did not happen (because he does not have the supplies). I asked for the deposit back and he mysteriously decided to claim he is out of the country and cannot give the money back.

I want the $1375 deposit back now.

I am not sure how to proceed from here.
I want to do 2 things.
1) Note that we received our deposit back yesterday. (Thank you - I believe the pressure from the Revdex.com was needed.)
2) The person did text me when he received the Revdex.com complaint. He ranted for a bit and then told me to take the complaint down, that he was out of the country, and that he had a lawyer who takes care of BS complaints. I emailed back that I would communicate with the Revdex.com once I had my deposit and if he needed to have his lawyer contact me I would be more than happy to share the string of text messages from the last year with the lawyer and decide on an appropriate path of action.
3) I am happy that I have the deposit back but I do not want to remove the complaint as others need to know about this situation (especially because it seems it has happened to others). I believe, an update to the original complaint that I posted will be more useful to others checking on this company. It has more details and explains the situation more carefully. Can you update the text of my complaint?

the principal/salesperson that we dealt with is an outright *** and did not complete the job as promised.
We contracted for an indoor putting green. On three separate occasions, I waited for them to arrive for installation and they did not show up. They never called to cancel and caused me to rearrange my day and cancel appointments so that I would be home for them. In addition, I boarded my dogs on three occasions so that they would not be in the way during installation. Each time they cancel, they did not call to tell me and when I finally got in touch, there were lie after liIe. I am a very fair person and I know that life gets in the way sometimes and if they would have called me, that would have been fine. They finally did arrive and installed my putting green but put it down like a piece of carpeting. It did not contain the indulations that it was supposed to have and the owner, *** told me that he would bring the additional piece and install it the following week. Since then it has been lie after lie. Two months later and I still do not have the project finished. What I do have is a list of lies telling me that it was shipped first by him to the wrong address and then by his brother as well as other lies in between. This guy is just a *** and honestly

Desired Outcome

I would like *** back to compensate me from the expenses I incurred directly from Them not showing up when they said they would without notice and also for the additional piece and installation of it and I never received to complete the project

This is very unfortunate & I don t appreciate being called a liar ! I spoke to her the day prior to this complaint told her I would personally take care of this very small issue that is an extra *** Piece of plastic that we don t sell & she was not being charged for ! The golf green is absolutely perfect & complete with an undulation we did between two of the holes as stated . I personally built this green with an employee . 18 yrs experience . She loved it the green & said her friends did also . A couple days later stated she d like to change the undulation which is elevation in a section of the green that makes the ball break . I said there s a piece of plastic I can order that can be placed under the turf moves around to give different options for the undulations . No extra charge ! We ordered the item the wrong item came in we then ordered it again & was told it was back ordered . She called & text daily non stop I should have not volunteered to get this plastic piece because it s not an item we sell . This was out of my control. Item was back ordered . We completed the green & it s beyond awesome . Wish I could post a pic it is on our website & was displayed at a home show . Upon recieving the complaint I contacted herd aid you want *** For a 30. Piece of plastic that is extra & your not being charged for ? Or you want *** To go away !? She responded no I just want to trash you online . I explained we ve had 2500 customers in 18 yrs . Have 12 on line complaints only two are actual customers . Response Done by iPhone sorry for grammatical errors or spelling .

I told him that I do not want his *** I do not want any money from him. I just want to be done with him. He knows the truth. And I actually have in print the complete text conversation from the start of this job until now. He doesn't show up. He makes excuses. And I should have done a better job vetting him before I hired him. I submitted this complaint only to warn future potential customers what they might be getting into. I am not looking for any compensation for myself. As I told ***, I don't know how he sleeps at night. I called someone else and have the job completed on my own. So I'm not going to communicate about this further. Has caused me enough aggravation already
