This builder did not install drip cap flashing on the front windows of our house How they missed this is beyond me Water leaked behind vinyl siding damaging wood siding and rotting wood It cost over $to repair Contacted a Gary Irene and he said to contact home owners insurance Home owners insurance does NOT cover manufacturing defects Gary refused to do anything about it He did not care and refused to accept any responsibility He said it was past the warranty period...so basically tough luck Several neighbors have experienced the same issue, also built by Golden HomesIt states their annual revenue is $million, yet they refuse to make a wrong right It’s astonishing that they would rather tarnish their own reputation than fix their own mistake If I owned a company, I would care about my reputation more and want to make make things right to satisfy the consumer Not Golden Homes though It’s tough luck
