This is in response to the complaint against what these customer said was Northend Car Clinic which is our business but has nothing to do with this complaint. We also own Deacon Towing Recovery & Repair LLC. The situation surrounding the day in question is as follows from our perspective. We...

were called to do a private property tow for Sunrise Meadow Apartments due to many guests parking in tenant parking and or not having a permit to park in the lots. For this particular case we were called by management to tow and impound the vehicle as they were not parked in guest parking and did not have a permit as a tenant to park where they were parked. We arrived at the lot located the vehicle by the license plate we were given by management. Per our agreement with the management we are to load the vehicle and take it to our storage lot and the person who owns the vehicle would contact us to release the vehicle. The is a charge for each vehicle we tow and impound and that price is at our discretion per the management staff.  While we were up at the lot and doing what we were called to do a young girl came out crying and begging us not to tow her car and stated she did not know she could not park there. She also said she was up there babysitting. On this day we spoke to the young girl and who we were told was her boyfriend. The girl stated she was not going to be able to pay the fee to release her vehicle. The boyfriend then stated that he could pay it. We also came to find out that the vehicle she stated was hers was actually not registered to her, it was registered to her step-mom. We spoke for a bit with the young girl and her boyfriend and came to an agreement that was affordable for them as we had not left the property with the vehicle at this point. I, Rick [redacted] was with and our driver Pat [redacted] was doing the work. As the owner of the company and in these types of situations we have two people on scene due to the possibility of a situation going bad. As far as a receipt, we did give them one but later came to find out we gave them the wrong receipt as we had just done a tire change that was a cash call previous to arriving at the Apartment complex. We made a mistake and wrote the wrong name on the wrong invoice. We do have the correct invoice at our shop and I have attached a copy. If the Payer, [redacted] would like to have the correct receipt he can contact us. We generally tell people in these types of situations that they can bring their receipt to their insurance company and see f they will reimburse them if they have roadside assistance. I would also like to add that we gave them a business card and they could have contacted us at any time in regards to this. We were not aware that this was even a problem as it was 4 months ago and then we received a message from this girls mothers boyfriend stating that he was "going to send in a complaint to the Revdex.com and that we were losers and hope we enjoyed ripping off a 16 year old."  This man has and had nothing to do with this situation and we outside of owning our businesses know this man and his family so we feel like this was a malicious act aimed at hurting our business. We fell like we did as were hired to do by the management of Sunrise Meadow Apartments and we did give her/him a 50% pus discount as a impound tow is usually $150-250.00 depending on where the car is located and the difficulty of retrieving it.
