Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Roy Hansen and Associates will give you one hour in which you can practice maneuvers in their vehicle; however you are required to pay in full prior to inspecting and operating the vehicle. I was never informed about the driving evaluation they offer and only assume that their standard responseis to suggest that some type of additional training would or should be taken that they would be happy to provide it at an additional cost. I want to be very clear about this; I was NEVER told that I could cancel the test and get a full refund; I would have taken the opportunity to do this, not because of my knowledge and experience behind the wheel, but because of his attitude towards me I had the ability & knowledge to take and pass the CDL test at the time. As a matter of fact I took and passed the tests the next weekend at another state licensed facility with no additional training or practice. I will address their next comment on the class B. If they are going to offer exams for a class B license they should be able to provide a class B vehicle totest in that does not require a passenger endorsement. They can in fact do this by unhooking the tractor from the trailer; they just choose not to do this. I noticed that they did comment on the condition of the vehicle that they are renting out and this is the biases of my complaint. As stated before this truck was in poor condition and required service to repair the air brakes, and faulty dash gauges before taking it out. The vehicle did not pass, the pre-trip inspection required to take the vehicle on the road. I do not need to take the test again with Roy Hansen and Associated as I tested with another facility and have obtained my license. I would like a full refund of the vehicle rental cost of $
Regards,

Upon request, Roy Hansen and Associates will give each driver one hour with the rental truck to practice before a CDL testThe rental cost is $The State
fee for the test itself is $A total cost for the test and rental is $Money is always collected at the beginning of each test to insure that we are paid for our time and services, even if the test is failedCDL A, B and C Testing is provided by Roy Hansen and Associates, not Northern Colorado Truck Driving AcademyThey are separate companiesNorthern Colorado Truck Driving Academy educates and trains students to become safe CDL A and B driversWe offer full courses, hourly training and help assist with job placementOur Driving Academy also offers a free driving evaluation to help a driver determine if they are ready to test or need more time to practice or train*** rejected the opportunity for his free evaluation.*** had multiple chances to cancel the test and reschedule with, ***, our testerDuring the hour rental to practice before his test, our tester encouraged *** not take the testIt was evident by his inability to drive the vehicle; *** wasn’t going to pass the CDL A test and needed more practiceThis is when *** confessed that he had no experience driving a class A combination vehicle and had no idea why he needed to test in the tractor trailer, when all he wanted was a Class B CDL Again, *** encouraged *** to cancel test and reschedule for a CDL B testDriving a class A vehicle is not like driving a class B vehicle *** also told *** that if he rescheduled with our CDL B rental, he had to go to the DMV for a Passenger endorsement because our B Vehicle requires it*** also informed *** that we would give him the rental for free, if he rescheduled *** could and should have canceled his test, but he said he did not want to wait at the DMV again to get the passenger endorsement and that he would chance passing the CDL A test. If *** would like to take the CDL B Test again with us, we would be glad to waive the rental fee on his second test and only charge the test fee of $ We offered him this provided he came back with the correct permit and had his passenger Endorsement
