I paid a bit high comparing to other quotes I got because sales person from 1st choice committed to me that they will deliver a high quality work
The workers were obviously rushedAnd we witness one fighter between themBut what truly concerns us was:
We happened to witness they did not put insulation on ridge of the first floor
We found some plastic things flagged on the roof; in the gutterAnd some shining thing scatted on north part of roofLater we realize those are nails
Two days later we noticed there are large amount of nails scatted around the houseWe search carefully in the lawn, we collect several hundreds of nails10% new; 90% old nails
After one raining and windy day, more nails was discovered
If you think the quality of the work was most disappointing, it is notWhat happened next was more stunning:
During the last walk through, sales person came without actually checking anything at allI pointed out the insulation issue and nail issueHe carefully apologized and committed on
1) He will personally bring magnet to check remaining nailsHe will take all the nails from deck, which were dozens of nails left on my deckHe will be back the day after
2) He will get use the confirmation on the insulation
3) He will get roofer to check the roof and gutter make sure no nails left there
We accepted that solution and paid our remaining of billAnd then we waited and waitedHe did not come the day after, no messageWe follow up the week after, a new date was givenNo show, no messageFollow up again, apologized and committee will comeOne week later, after one angry phone call he committed to come to pick up nailsAnd this time he did comeRe the photo of roof/gutter, no message; re the insulation, no message
The quality of their work was very disappointing; the attitude to wards their committeemen and promise was extremely disappointingAll they did was trick you to payI would do very differently if I knew this was going to happen

The roofing job was done on a Saturday which meant they were short staffed, but those 3 guys worked as hard as if the were a full crew.All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful throughout. We recently hired 1st Choice Home Solutions to install a metal roof, eaves troughs and gutter guards for us! We dealt directly with the owner & president, [redacted], which was an amazing experience since most owners don't visit their customers home for the first & initial contact. The meeting was pleasant and he laid out all the options for us in a timely manner. From the time that we agreed to do the installation to the walk through that [redacted] did of the work that was done, it was an absolutely EXCELLENT experience and one that we would recommend to anyone.

All persons dealt with at every level and at every stage were polite & professional. Work was completed efficiently by a knowledgeable installer. Workmanship was excellent. I was pleased to have a final inspection prior to the final billing. I had two sun tunnels installed a 10 inch in the laundry room and a 14" in the hallway. I have requested a 3rd (21 inch) for the kitchen as I am so pleased with the effect of the other sun tunnels installed. I highly recommend this company and would certainly consider them for other work in the future.
We recently used this Company to in-stall a new roof on one of our rental properties here in London. We were very impressed with the speed and qaulity of service we received on this jobsite. It involved a 2 and 3 story roofed building which their crew did with full safety equipment and very good time as well. Even their cleanup was extremely well done at the end of this project. THe Price and quality of the new materials was very good as well. Yes we would use them again.
Very happy with the work done on our home, looks like a new house again. Staff were friendly and helpful. Work started and completed in a good time. Crews did a nice job cleaning up when done. I would highly recommend this company.
