Not sure we have any kind of contractNorthern Credit Service sent us a statement of what we owed for past medical bills and we started to send in paymentThey wouldn't accept the payments and had us served on the morning of February 14th since the original summons they have added a lot of extra fees that would NOT have been necessary if they accepted the paymentsLegal or not I feel this is very wrong and appreciate you looking into this matter Thank You

As discussed with Revdex.com yesterday, we are faxing a copy of the contractual agreement and a copy of legal documents filed on this caeTell us why here

As a collection agency we receive accounts assigned to our business to recover for our clientsThe balances are due and payable at the time of assignment and taking payments is a courtesyWe try to work with consumers on a reasonable payment plan to complete payment in a reasonable period of timeWe were told by the consumer that this is how much I will pay and you will accept itIt was not an amount acceptable and matters were filed in Siskiyou County Court and a judgment was obtainedNorthern Credit Service does not have a co-owner who is an attorney as stated by the consumerThe State of California requires all third parties to use an attorney to file legal actions and those fees are set by the stateIt is unfortunate that we could not come to terms on an agreeable payment plan

I was able to access the complaint. We have an irrevocable contract with the client. That means unless we agree to cancel the account we will not cancel. The reason we cannot cancel this account at this time is that we have expended legal costs to pursue recovery of the judgment that has been...

assigned to our office. This has been explained to our client. Furthermore we are currently pursuing potential recovery of this account at this time. This has been explained to the client. If there was a guarantee by having a judgment against a party a person could get paid, then the 1000's of judgments that are assigned to collection agencies every year would not take place. We dont get paid unless we recovery some or all of the money. We also do not expend legal costs on a judgment unless we believe there is potential to recovery the money. If we felt it was hopeless at this time, we would need to be paid for the legal costs incurred (court fees) and then would cancel the account. We believe the possibility to collect at this time is good.

I am rejecting this response because:  The message Revdex.com sent to me in response from Northern Credit Union is incomplete.  Please correct and send it to me along with the attached documents from Northern Credit Union.On 9/13/16 I sent a letter to Northern Credit Union requesting a copy of a contract for services which includes my signature.  Northern Credit Union did not respond to my request.
