I apologize for the delayed response to your email notifications.  Somehow they were getting caught in my spam blocker.  Here is our response to the items Mr. [redacted] raised in his complaint.1.  [redacted] is one of our sales representatives and works for Northern Directory Publishing....

 We publish the telephone directories for Three Rivers Communications and our company is owned by Three Rivers Communications.  We handle all of the telephone directory billing for the telephone company.  The option to have directory advertising charges included on telephone bills is not available and I would be very surprised if [redacted] offered that to Mr. [redacted]. 2.  The advertising contract signed by Mr. [redacted] is marked for monthly billing.  We made a clerical error in the office and marked the contract amount due on directory publishing.  Mr. [redacted] needed to contact our office to notify us of the error and we would have made the change to monthly billing.  Mr. [redacted] never informed us of the error, although he received numerous statements of his past due account.3.  Mr. [redacted] was emailed an advertising proof per our company practices.  He did not open or review his advertising proof.4.  Mr. [redacted] contacted our office in March of this year and was directed to our sales department because he claimed we did not print the advertisement he purchased.  Our customer service person researched his account and explained to Mr. [redacted] that his ad was placed in the directory correctly and what page he could find his ad.  He did not mention the billing terms error or request to be switched to monthly billing.  Our customer service person noted that she felt Mr. [redacted] was confused and was looking in the wrong telephone directory for his ad.5.  We made several attempts to contact Mr. [redacted] via telephone with no luck.  After six months of unanswered statements via mail and failed attempts to contact him via telephone, our accounting department turned his account over for collection.Mr. [redacted]'s advertising contract and a copy of the directory yellow page containing his ad are attached.Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint and I hope this will help clear up any misunderstandings.  I encourage Mr. [redacted] to contact our collection agent to work out a suitable payment plan and to contact our office if he has more questions regarding his advertisement.[redacted]General ManagerNorthern Directory Publishing

Review: I was contacted be a salesman by name of [redacted] from this business. He wanted to sell me a ad for the Three Rivers telephone directory. [redacted] sold me a ad in the Directory. I asked [redacted] if would be monthly on my Three Rivers Phone bill. He said yes it would be billed through Three Rivers Phone Company. I asked for a copy of the ad before publishing. After signing the paper work I didn't had any contact other a bill for the full amount. I had no ad tear copy's. I couldn't find my ad other than bold listing in the new book. so I didn't pay the bill. [redacted] said he work for Three Rivers Communications that was not true. The billing was not monthly thought Three Rivers Communications. I though I only got a Bold ad of the free ad. I changed Internet providers from Three Rivers Communications and dropped Three Rivers Communication phone service. If I had a ad tear sheet I would had a keep the phone service. I called Northern to talk about the bill and told them Id pay in month or two there answer was to turn it over to collection. Do poor service from this Company I turned them In to the Madison County Sheriff Department for bad business practices and too Three Rivers Communications.Desired Settlement: I will pay the bill if they tack it back from collection and promise to supervise there salesman more closely. Other wise I will turn it offer to my attorney for legal action.
