On 4/17/I came to the customers house to reseed dead patches located in a 20Xfenced in area of the customers lawnThe supplies (topsoil, straw, and seed) were purchased from a very reputable business in the areaDuring the process of reseeding the dead patches I educated the customer on
the importance of watering his yard dailyOnce the work was completed on 4/17/I heard nothing from the customer until 6/20/via text message when customer complained about how grass did not grow in all the spots that were patched with seedShortly after text message I came to the customers house to assess the yard, I agreed that in some spots the seed did not take to and glow, but there was growth in other spots that were reseededI explained to the customer the importance of caring for the reseeded yard i.ewatering daily especially due to the high temperatures we received, not allowing excessive/any foot traffic to area, and pets urinating and/or deficating on spots due to it hindering new growth on spotsWhen educating the owner it was not to offend him since he has two dogs but to make him aware of how delicate the growth process is when trying to get grass to growI also stressed not just initially watering the spots but the continued need for watering several times a day that must occur in order for new seeds to take hold and grow successfullyDuring this meeting I told the owner I would be willing to comeback in the fall when the temperatures were cooler and use an aerator on the lawn and reseed the dead spots to try and correct the problemDuring this encounter the owner agreed to me coming back and doing this processAround 8/5/customer contacted me via text message and said the spots in the yard were all dead now, I used poor quality supplies, and he had accumulated rocks in his yard which he believed to be from the topsoilI assured the customer the topsoil when placed on spots did not have rocks in them and asked if he was watering

I am rejecting this response because: Contractor states that he has offered to reimburse me $but only on the condition that I close this complaint FIRSTWhen I told him I could not do that he told me to lie to the Revdex.com and report that he has paid me and to drop this complaint! He has not paid me and never will if I close this caseHe is obviously a dishonest and disreputable person, in my opinion He has offered to come back and reseed but that is not an option to me as I do not want him on my property and do not care to see him againMy yard looks worse now than before he worked on itI did everything he instructed me to do to facilitate healthy grass growth and all I have in the areas he worked on is dirt and stonesI believe the failure is due to his use of inferior products.The ONLY resolution to this case is reimbursement of $100, paid by check and mailed to my homeOnce I receive payment, I will close this case immediatelyI texted him my address but if he deleted it my address is;*** ** *** *** ***Birdsboro, Pa***
