The customer states that transmission was jumping and continued to keep putting fluid intotransmission, only after it stopped working did he then call the shop, there was a 90-day warranty onthe transmission and when he called it was day which is over the 90-day warranty that comes withthe transmission, we don't offer or have the means to give an extended warrantyIf the customer calledwhen it was jumping and told us about it and it was with in the day mark we would have been able toreplace it with another new used transmission for him at no cost to himUnfortunately that was not thecaseI understand that he would like us to pay for a new transmission but if in fact he brought it back tous with in the month it would not be a problem.I would be curious what the mileage was when thecar stopped workingUsually a transmission gives warning that there is a problem it just doesn't stop, inthis case I can only assume by their words that they had to continue to pump transmission fluid in thecar which would be a BIG sign that something is not right and at that point they should have called us orcame to the shop for us to look at immediatelyWe would love to help them but with it being out ofwarrant, now there is nothing we can do for themBuying a used transmission is exactly what it is usedand we brought this transmission for a reputable company and sometime the part fails hence the 90-daywarrantyAttached is the signed repair order where it clearly states daysI wish we could have helphim but due to being days over we can't replace it for no moneyThe customer also states it stoppedworking a few weeks after it was replaced so a few weeks to me is like weeks why did it take him overmonths to contact us? Due to whatever issues that were going on with this transmission it probablyran out of fluid and it burned up the transmission is what my guess would beSincerely, Julie ***

On August 3, 2016 we were dispatched to an apartment complex to remove vehicles parked in locations that were marked off due to paving. The apartment complex gave notice to all tenants where they could and could not park, if so they would be towed at their own expense. We absolutely did not scam...

anyone. Our private property towing has a set rate of $175.00. The necessary multiple charges were included so we would not damage any vehicle when towing without keys. Winching vehicle- 48.00, skates (equipment used to get on truck safely)- 35.00, labor-1/2 hour loading and unloading vehicle safely-39.50, Flatbed-safer for vehicles without keys than a wheel lift truck-25.00.We are sorry you felt as though you were charged unfairly but in the future when management of your  apartment complex gives you notice that vehicles will be towed if parked where they are doing  maintenance on property it would be best to adhere to warnings. Everyone has a job to do, by parking in the area that was set for maintenance, you held up the company contracted to do the work, costing them time and money as well. We will not be refunding any of the tow bill hopefully you will be able to understand that you were the one that caused this bill by not paying attention to the letters that All TENANTS received. The tenants that didn't park in the restricted parking area had no problems because they paid attention.  Sincerely, Julie [redacted]-Owner

8/31/2016  To Whom it may Concern;  In response to Mr. [redacted] claim N.L. Auto Service did in fact perform a Front end alignment  check and adjustment on 6/6/2016. At that time a thrust angle alignment only (toe set wasperformed). In which Mr. [redacted] had previously replaced tie rod...

end assy(s) and the vehicle was  way out of alignment (as shown by enclosed specification sheet). He was also informed at that time that his caster specification and rear toe setting was way out of specs and an adjustment kit may have to be purchased as well as front strut/spring assemblies and a possible adjuster kit for the rear. He opted at that time to not purchase parts to do any further repairs. Northern Lights auto Service did not remove tire{s) for any part of this service (alignment). Mr. [redacted] has performed numerous repairs to his vehicle on his own, le: sway bar links, tie rod ends, and control arm assemblies (to which he himself would have had to remove tire assemblies) on various occasions. Since his original aligment was performed He has never stated any concern(s) to me other that a clunk noise on 7/8/2016 IN WHICH WE ATIEMPTED TO CHECK OUT AND HE DID NOT WANT US TO PROCEED ANY FURTHER BEING THE FACT THAT HE HAD NO MONEY TO HAVE DIAGNOSTICS TO BE PERFORMED. He only paid $59.95 pl tx originally to have service performed not the $70.00 which his claim stated. So, in response to Mr [redacted] allegations Northern Lights Auto Service did not remove any wheels to perform "Thrust Angle Alignment/Toe Set". If wheels loosened up it was inf act due to the replacement of parts in which Mr. [redacted] installed on his vehicle. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions/concerns at [redacted] There will be no refunds. Sincerely,  Kevin [redacted](Service Manager)

The customer states that transmission was jumping and continued to keep putting fluid intotransmission, only after it stopped working did he then call the shop, there was a 90-day warranty onthe transmission and when he called it was day 109 which is over the 90-day warranty that comes withthe...

transmission, we don't offer or have the means to give an extended warranty. If the customer calledwhen it was jumping and told us about it and it was with in the 90 day mark we would have been able toreplace it with another new used transmission for him at no cost to him. Unfortunately that was not thecase. I understand that he would like us to pay for a new transmission but if in fact he brought it back tous with in the 3 month it would not be a problem.I would be curious what the mileage was when thecar stopped working. Usually a transmission gives warning that there is a problem it just doesn't stop, inthis case I can only assume by their words that they had to continue to pump transmission fluid in thecar which would be a BIG sign that something is not right and at that point they should have called us orcame to the shop for us to look at immediately. We would love to help them but with it being out ofwarrant, now there is nothing we can do for them. Buying a used transmission is exactly what it is usedand we brought this transmission for a reputable company and sometime the part fails hence the 90-daywarranty. Attached is the signed repair order where it clearly states 90 days. I wish we could have helphim but due to being 19 days over we can't replace it for no money. The customer also states it stoppedworking a few weeks after it was replaced so a few weeks to me is like 2 weeks why did it take him over3 months to contact us? Due to whatever issues that were going on with this transmission it probablyran out of fluid and it burned up the transmission is what my guess would be. Sincerely, Julie [redacted]
