I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [redacted].

I spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] from the company and they stated that they consumer did come in for a diagnosis test on the car. The did an evaluation of the car and found that there was a lot of mechanical work that needed done. The consumer came in a picked up the car and did not mention anything about...
dust or anything wrong with the car. Three days later the business received a call from the consumer that there was a fire under the hood of his car. The business then got their inspector to come in a look at the fire extinguishers and none of them had been discharged. No one saw or put out a fire on the car. The business did not do any work on the car and only evaluated the car.
Review: My [redacted] was taken in for diagnostic work and assessment of mechanical problems while the vehicle was in their possession a fire occurred under the hood which was put out with a fire extinguisher and returned to me. I did return to them the next day and complain about the powder all through the cab of the car and was told they had no Idea what it could be . I did not notice the damage for 3 days until I began cleaning the car up. When I confronted them on these issues I was told they knew nothing about it and it must have happened some where else.Desired Settlement: classic/antique [redacted] the repair and paper trail is very crucial in determining the value and now that it has a documented fire the vehicle is practically worthless. I want them to buy that car for the $7500.00 that I have invested in it or replace it with a vehicle of equal value.
