I have been admitted to Northern Nevada Medical Center (NNMC) at least times for several issues, including surgeryMost of the incidents involved diverticulitis or vomiting that won't ceaseMy care has cost Medicare over $100,000+ with a co-payI have three bills; totaling approximately $3000-$I made an agreement; to pay $a month which I made about timesIt seems NNMC and the billing agency are different companies and don't communicateFor some reason two of the three bills went into collectionsI have no means to pay $1,700+ at this timeI would like to pay $a month for all three outstanding bill(s) like I agreed toThat's all I wantTo pay $a month, until the bill is paid offI can even place the bill(s) on auto-payIf that doesn't occur then I can't pay thisI am currently disabled and have limited income

I agreed to pay Northern Nevada Medical $a month for monthsTheir automated payment system tricks the caller into paying the entire amountA charge went through for $and I did NOT authorize itIf I agreed to $a month why did they charge me $PLUS, NN medical said they cancelled the transaction which was a lieThis ENTIRE billing process has really been a terrible experience and I still MONTHS LATER, don't know what the entire bill is

In May I called and talked to a representative at Northern Nevada Medical Center to settle up the $bill that I owed themI setup a payment plan where I would pay $per month until paid offI was told by the representative that my first payment would be due in JulyWhen July came I paid the $like I agreed uponI paid in August also and received a letter from NNMC that my account had been turned into collectionsI called and talked to customer service who said that I hadn't paid in June and after days of non-payment the bill is sent to collectionsI tried to explain myself about how the rep told me I didn't have to pay until July and was told that nothing can be doneI also told the rep that July and August had been paid so why would I skip June and pay the next two monthsSo now I get turned into collections because of a mistake made by NNMC and when I brought it up there's nothing that they can do

My insurance company has payed my bill at 100% under the appeal processNorthern Nevada Medical has accepted the payment which clearly states that they are payed in fullI have contacted them several times by phone and twice by letter asking them to either return the payment to my insurance company so I can continue to appeal with them or to accept the insurances company's terms for paymentThey refuse to do either they were informed of the terms on 8/1/ paid on 9/6/and informed of the terms twice moreThe check says full payment and the Explanation of benefits says paid in full
