Review: My girlfeMy girlfriend and I just got back from having her get treatment. They called in the middle of the night at 1 am. My girlfriend [redacted] was extremely exhausted andnow angry. I they said thede was slamming doors and disturbance. We were both sleeping as well as we cojld but no noise was being made at all. Then the people above us in hotel started stomping around . I called back at 3 am after she was starti.g to get sick now from the stress. I called and the lady said that she cant do anything about it because theres no manager on duty. In the morning I tried to call the and explain how poorly it was handled and she said sorry we are all going through something and maybe I should tame that should take that into consideration. She rudely told me that soeone she knew just xied fro cancer so to suck it up at least shes alive for now. Then hung up. My girlfrie.d ended up having a seizure because brain cancer does that to the sick. We are extremely sad anDiscouraged now so badly I cant even get her happy right now because she cant belie e someone...a manager of a nice hotel like this in a beautiful area thag supposedly knows about cancer totally do.t .. She said there was only an old couple above us so she didnt believe me. I feel discriminated against and a hotel should not be also a home for the elderly and disabled. And if it is its odd they handle diabled women such as my girl and I don't understand how they could be such mean people. I wonder what else goes on there.Desired Settlement: Considering we drove 9 hours to get home from doctor. And no rest happened for my girl after this journey. I would like the full amount back and hardship costs considering I had to miss work because of the disturbance and having to take care of seizures rest of the night.

On March 13th 2014, at approximately 11:45, my 4:00PM-12:00 AM employee received a distressed phone call from a guest staying in the hotel. They stated they heard yelling and screaming from the room below and were worried for their safety. They debated on calling the Police Dept. but decided to call the front office instead. My employee promptly called the room under the circumstances and a woman answered. My employee asked if everything was okay as there was a call regarding a disturbance. The woman stated she had no idea what she was talking about and that they were sleeping and she had woken her up and was very angry. My employee apologized and told her that she believed her, to which the woman became irate on why she would say she believed her and why wouldn't she. She hung up on my employee.

At 3:00 AM my Night Auditor received a phone call from the irate woman. It appears she was still angry over the issue from a couple of hours ago. She insisted that we call the room above and complain about them stomping around. She also asked to speak with a manager. She was told no manager was available until after 8:00 AM. She stated that she would call back in the morning. She then hung up on my employee.

I came into my shift at 8:00AM and was given all the information regarding the issues that transpired over the evening and early morning. I never received a phone call, in fact the only time I spoke with the gentleman was upon check out. He was very gracious and thanked me for a nice stay. I was shocked due to what had transpired the night before.

Around 20 minutes later I received a phone call from the woman who was angry. It seems she was most angry with the fact that my employee had stated that she believed her and just didn't understand why she wouldn't. I explained that my employee didn't mean any offence and apologized. I stated that an older couple was concerned, that we were just following up on the complaint. They are frequent guests due to the fact that they are buying a house in the area. They are not elderly or disabled. Although we do provide lodging for the elderly and disabled. Not providing services just due to the fact that they are elderly and disable WOULD be discrimination.

She then went into another tirade on how things have been really hard lately and I told her understood due to the fact that I have been experiencing some hard times as well. This seemed to have made her even more angry and went into yet another tirade on "how would I like it if I had had a brain tumor and been sick for the last 12 years never having been able to party and enjoy life as I normal person". I told her I was sorry and that at least she still had her life and was able to get treatment. She stated how would I know and I told her that I knew a person who recently got cancer and treatment but died. I NEVER said to suck it up.....EVER!!! I also find it odd that if the experience was so horrible, why did they check into the same room on March 17, 2014 and out on the 18, 2014.

The complaint is totally false, and I consider it defamation of character. I have no intention of even considering a refund.
