I require a stafee before I begin researching for grant/funding opportunitiesRegardless of the outcome I have still provided the work*** and her daughter Sayba retained my services as a grant researcher and writerI spent over hours working on their projects and jumping through
hoops that they set up outside of my operating procedures, this cause unnecessary emails for me to review that did not pertain to me as the site they both "needed" me to join was unhelpful to anyone, but something they were trying outThey both have received updates by email and on the phoneThe Dell foundation was approached for the possibility of computers and software that would be helpful to both in the running of their projectsYes *** is seeking land grants however as I stated to her , she is not a c and available funding at that time was only available to non-profits (c 3)I sent out the giving Tuesday Link to all my clients for their information if they choose to use itIt was not sent specifically to herI have been writing grants for almost years and have a very clear understanding of the grant process and where her project sits in regards to fundingI also advised that she think about becoming a c to allow her funding opportunitiesIn regards To walk her through a grant process, first a grant open to her needed to be located so that I could then show *** and her daughter a "live' application, one has not been located as she is not a c and for profit funding is much harder to find and the ones that were located were not open at this time ( funding dates were closed until 2018) As to "setting back" her project that simply is not possible with no grants open at this timeI do not control when funders accept applications for fundingIn my opinion she now has a clear template of where and when to apply for funding that she did not have beforeYes grant can take 90-days to receive funding and some even longer, grants of 500,can take a year until a project receives their fundingWith no c 3 and no grant funding history for her project large grants are not even a possibility to DaphneWith a deadline driven project as *** claims to have if you are adamant about sticking to that you will either need to self finance or have strong investors, neither of which is involved in her projectIf you are grant/ funding dependent you have to be flexible as grants are never guaranteed funding as I explained to both *** and her daughterIn both the invoices and both the contracts it is clearly stated that I have a no refund policy. Thank you for your time. Gail B***
We hired Gail and Northerngail to help us raise funds for a very important non-profit we wish to start. In the beginning she made loads of promises, and said we would have weekly phone calls to check on progress.
I can't get her to return my phone calls or emails. We have no idea if, or how many grants she may have written, as every time I ask her to give me numbers, she refuses to answer and does not respond. This brings up as big red flag.
We have paid her for her grant writing services, but if she was actually writting grants on our behalf, wouldn't she communicate and give us a number as to how many? Gail promised the checks would start coming in 3-6 months. Nothing, not even a rejection letter has been sent.
My Board of Directors will be calling the list of Organizations she has supposedly written grants to on Monday. If she has not followed up on her end, we will be filing a lawsuit, and reporting her to the RevDex.com.
Gail is a nice person, but terrible to work with due to lack of follow up, and dropped communication. I cannot start my company without the so called funds she promised. If in fact she just took our hard earned money, and is not doing her job she is failing miserably as a business, and should never make promises she does NOT intend to keep.
I will do a follow up yelp review once we have called all the companies she has so called "written grants for."
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:It is clear from Ms. B[redacted]'s response that she did not file for grants, the task she was hired to do. In fact, since filing a complaint with the Revdex.com, it's become clear that she has treated another organization dedicated to helping orphans and widows, the exact same way:https://www.revdex.com/reviews/northerngail-enterprises-fundraising-amp-gran...⇄ have proof of receipts and no proof of grants submitted for over 30 days now. UNPROFESSIONAL & DISHONEST. We want our money back, and to inform the general public of her unethical behavior. I wish someone would have placed this review before dooing business. Thanks for your time & consideration.Settlement: Refund of $300.00 as Proof of grantwriting was never given after many requests."As with my company, that organization also complained that Ms. B[redacted] never filed for grants. Having a no refund policy does not give a business license to break contracts and not fulfil commitments. From the outset, it was clear that my company was not a 501 C (3). I made that very clear during the interview process, and asked about her ability to obtain grants for B Corporations. She said that she could. My business is a film production company. There's not confusion that this is not a for profit corporation. I asked for updates, and about 2 months after asking, I received a one sheet that did not list grants being applied to. And again, I received no proof of grants applied for (which I asked for). There were grants to apply for, and as a result of Ms. B[redacted], I've missed grant deadlines, for B corporations and film productions. She has damaged my business because of those missed deadlines. Ms. B[redacted] has absolutely no proof of 300 hours spent, because they weren't. Research any other grantwriter and 300 hours spent in grant work would have resulted in one grant or some form of letter from a grant organization. Ms. B[redacted] cannot provide you with either. THere is no proof from Dell that they were approached, AND, we never hired Ms. B[redacted] to file grants for computers. I have a computer. My organization has nothing to do with computers or software. Again, Ms. B[redacted] is showing once more that she did not do the job she was hired to do. The link she sent me required the organization to be a 501 (c) 3. It took me exactly 2 minutes of reading to discover that. Yet, she wanted me to apply to it, which has nothing to do with my organization. This was sent after months of getting nothing from her. It seemed like a desperate attempt to show something, which fell flat because I could not apply for the grant...which she was hired to do in the first place. Again, for the public good, Ms. B[redacted] should not be permitted to take anyone's money, not perform duties and get away with it because she has a no refund policy. It's one thing to file a grant or two and it not be accepted. Is another thing to make collecting refunds for no work, your business model. She keeps asserting that no grants were open. That's not true. It's a flat out error. No grants were available to B corporations last year, especially one with the goal to provide affordable housing? Really?Again, Ms. B[redacted] appears to be in the business of collecting people's money under the guise of a deposit, with no intent of doing any work. It's important to protect those seeking grants from what could be perceived as (and as referred to in the review above) a scam.
Sincerely,

Again this individual clearly has no understanding as to how grant work for for-profits vrs non-profits.She also refers to an old complaint for an individual that was years ago and required me to take action as well as other agencies. It remains clear that both the complainants are not going to be satisfied by reasoning and feel justified in trying to slander and use defamation of character to feel justified.Neither is initialed to a refund hours of research and reviewing potential funders guidelines were done. Reports were sent, emails answered and phone calls returned.
I agree with the ministry's complaints above (Ministry which supports orphans & widows). It's the same MO! Gail Burger knew BEFORE I hired here that we were not a 501 C3. She said everything she needed to say to get us to hire her. Then, after months of not seeing any evidence of grants being submitted, no confirmation emails, no copies...NOTHING, she started to make excuses much like above. The scheme here is simple: set a low deposit so that busy people trying to do good in the world won't bother to file complaints and reviews! Find a reputable grant writer who actually knows how to write grants. And, if this is your experience, leave a review and file a Revdex.com complaint. There so many people in need that we have to band together to protect them by making sure that people don't use schemes to take hard earned or raised dollars. Don't fall for it.
Same exact experience. She took the deposit, did not file a single grant application, and stopped communicating once found out. She doesn't care what population you're serving.
I have experienced the same exact issue with Northerngail Enterprises, Fundraising & Grant Writing and Gail Burger (as the ministry above). She took my deposit and did not file for a single grant. She sent me a link to a grant which I was not eligible to apply for. It was clear then that she does not know how to apply for grants. The money we are seeking was to help autism families. As shown by the other complaint, she does not care who you are trying to help. Her business model is to take your deposit and move on to the next.
Lets band together and hire an attorney to get our money back and hold her accountable. My greatest fear has come true, she is a scam artist.
Review: To Whom It may concern:I'm filing this complaint, our Ministry which supports orphans & widows nationally & globally paid in full for a tranasction we never received services from. [redacted] a grantwriter based in Libby MT informed us that she finds & obtains grants even for those who do not have a 501c3. [redacted] informed she has a 98% success rate, and also that she submits 3-5 grants a week as a ghostwriter on your behalf. Upon submission, you should receive a letter by email stating grant submission was receieved from the organization. After 30 days we haven't received one submittal by email as assured. We asked [redacted] to submit proof and she informs me on Oct 22 that she's out of town and hangs up. She asks for money upfront, and wants a portion therafter. She blames delays on her assistant who probably writes the grants on her behalf, as she juggles projects. Refuse to let her sunny disposition fool you. This is a hungry money shark. We have proof of receipts and no proof of grants submitted for over 30 days now. UNPROFESSIONAL & DISHONEST. We want our money back, and to inform the general public of her unethical behavior. I wish someone would have placed this review before dooing business. Thanks for your time & consideration.[redacted] C[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund of $300.00 as Proof of grantwriting was never given after many requests.

Revdex.com
NEFR response to complaint from [redacted];
[redacted] with Worship Him Ministries paid 280.00 on 09/20/13 and 20.00 on 10/07/13 for a total of
300.00. The 300.00 equals 12 hours of grant/foundation research and if time is remaining grant writing.
On average I can usually squeeze in a grant or two with in the 12 hours. Miss [redacted] paid for 12 hours of
grant research and grant writing. She received 17 hours of research and grant writing. The four extra
were done pro bono because I liked her project. All hours are documented.
Miss [redacted] was also informed that due to the fact she does not have 501 c 3 status finding funding would
take longer to find funding that she fits the criteria for. I was able to submit 3 funding request for Miss
[redacted] with a total amount of 41,000.00. The Grant/Foundation process was explained to her, all funders
have different funding dates and notification dates. Grant #1 submitted on 10/07/13 with a close date
of 10/31/13 has at least a four week notification date from close date. Grant #2 submitted on 10/07/13
is the same as grant #1. Grant #3 was submitted on 10/21/13 and quickly reviewed and a decline notice
was emailed to me and forwarded to Miss [redacted] on 10/22/13 at 6:42pm.
As for Miss [redacted]’s claim that she had received no receipts or reports, this is simply untrue, she received
an e-mail from me when a grant was submitted explaining who the funder is and how much. Miss
[redacted] also called continually and received updates via phone by me and a spread sheet showing grant
being researched and grants submitted on her behalf. On 09/24/13 I received her signed contract and
information I had requested, on 10/4/13 she was sent a spreadsheet, 10/07/13 at 8:05pm she received
notification from me that I had submitted a grant with the funders name and amount. Almost all of my
reports were given to her over the phone as she called about every other day for updates.
Miss [redacted] was a client with little patience and a volatile attitude. She also had trouble understanding
that I have other clients. I have been subjected to verbal abuse, harassment, slander, defamation of
character and public media attacks by Miss [redacted] all within one day, as she posted over 80 slanderous
letters on my public sights, other clients sites (In one case the client wrote her back to tell her to stop
and they also had to take down 10+ posts on their company FB), twitter, fundraising sites had to be
taken down because of her, Facebook deemed her as harassing and banned and blocked her. I also
have many verbally abusive messages on my voice mail and have been turned in to The RevDex.com.
Miss [redacted] received the services she paid for and extra, just because she is inpatient and angry does not
entitle her to a refund. I have all the documents necessary and can forward them to you.
Thank you for your time,

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
To Whom It May Concern:
In response to Miss. [redacted]’s letter, this is the
actual transaction that transpired over the last four weeks of doing business
with the said party. Our Ministry Team was informed via conference call, that
Miss. [redacted] was able to submit 3-5 grants per week.
So for her to insist that 1 -2 grants is what we all agreed
too over four weeks is simply untrue. Miss. [redacted] did not complete pro bono
work, she was very insistent about money from the very beginning. The reason
she took it upon herself with additional hours, is because she informed us her
assistant had been ill for four days, she was playing catch up. She also never
asked if we wanted the additional hours, which would require us to pay extra
for. This is not integrity, nor professional behavior from someone dealing with
finances. I’m including the one and only email of the grants submitted after
the Revdex.com was contacted. If she sent prior notification, there would never have
been a complaint. If Miss. [redacted] sent notification, she should have a copy of
the email that she sent us. I’m sure she doesn’t that’s why we reached out to
the ATTY General & the Revdex.com. Miss. [redacted] was also discussing our ministry,
and grant information with a 3rd party that goes against her code of
privacy. This 3rd party was privy to personal information, and
called us and mentioned that Miss. [redacted] had ceased working on our grants to
perform funding for this 3rd party who our ministry referred. I’m
including the only email we received again after 32 days of asking for email
verification/documentation of grants submitted per her contract. There’s no
information, nor our ministry name, nor grant information that would even
suggest this work was on our behalf. I took it upon myself to place our concern
on her FB page, as she hung up the phone, and would not return our call. She
also has no website, the only way to contact her is via her FB page. [redacted] also
mentioned to myself ([redacted]) & ([redacted]) a ministry leader, that
she wrote 5 grants totaling $42,000.00 It is my concern that she is practicing
fraudulent behavior, that needs further investigation. There was no thorough
research on her end, hence the email from the private grant stating there was
no money to hand out at this late date, how thorough can this grant writer
truly be??? Our bank concluded that Miss. [redacted] was not properly conducting
herself, and could find no way to properly look her business up, in conclusion
our funds were given back to us after proper investigation. It is our moral
compass that had our ministry reach out to the Revdex.com, so others would have
insight as to this woman’s shady business dealings.
Respectfully,
