Work not completed On 10/9/I hired M&M Tree to cut down a tree in my front yard for $and also grind out the stump for and additional $ They finished the job and I paid them $by check When I moved the chippings from grinding out the stump I found they had NOT gotten all the stump out and a large piece is sticking out about the grass line I called Mr [redacted] and he said he would have someone out to look at it I never saw anyone I called Mr [redacted] more times and left him a message and never heard back from him What I want is for the remaining stump to be removed

My year old father-in-law said that a man came knocking on his door stating that he was with M & M tree servicesHe proceeded to tell my father-in-law that he has some trees that need to be cut downThe man talked him into going to the bank and getting $in cashMy father-in-law gave the man the money before the job was finished because the guy said he had to leave but was leaving his guys there to finish the jobAll they did was take his money, cut the tree down, and left a huge messThe man's name who took the money is James S*He said he worked for Melivin B*** at M & MI plan to persure this until my elderly father-in- law gets his money back
I was at work when this company's sales representative solicited at our door saying that they were "doing work in the neighborhood" and did we want some trees cut downTheir quoted price ($600) was attractive to my husband, but did not include removal of the trees or brush, and was a "cash only" only quote(No paperwork) He decided to have the work done, as the company was available "today" I called the company and ask them how much it would cost to remove the trees and was quoted $for the trees and $for the brush So basically, their price for having all the work done is $I had a written quote from a reputable company for $that included cutting and removalSo the moral of the story is, do not have work done from anyone who solicits and is "in the neighborhood" Above all, get a contract, check them out first, and don't pay cash I have informed M & M to never step foot on this property againLive and learn
