In response to correspondence of February 10, 2017.There are questions in Item 4 of the correspondence. How a refund of monies works is this; bring in to our office the original hearing aid in your possession and then we will immediately submit a credit for $4,345 to the Wells Fargo account previously charged. The credit posts in 48 hours. You will receive a receipt that the credit has been sent, which we sign as the merchant sending it; you will also receive notification via USPS from Wells Fargo. The original hearing aid you turn in gets returned to the manufacturer. A letter will go out to your medical insurance policy explaining that that original hearing aid has been returned, which should result in cancellation of the claim.The deductible for Loss/Damage insurance is not refundable since the replacement hearing aid was made. It is refundable if the process is stopped before the replacement device is manufactured.

From professional licensed M.D. (Dr. [redacted] - Encl) has addressed me to get Audio Exam. to study for Bone & Air Conduction as this will show if I have nerve or mechanical damage in right ear. This exam will be from a "licensed professional" to do Audiogram. Northland Hearing has no professional license to my knowledge. Wanted to loo for additional information.

We apologize that you have experienced fit issues with the original set of Audibel A4 hearing aids. We are certainly able to resolve these issues under the manufacturer guarantee.
The trial period on the contract is on the original set of hearing aids you purchased, not on a...

replacement under Loss/Damage Insurance, which is not the original device. Attached is the Notice of Right to Cancel, which is required by Alaska Law and delineates the requirements under the law for cancelling a hearing aid transaction. You received a copy at the time of purchase. You cannot make available the original device, therefore you are ineligible for refund on that device. You are eligible for refund on the other ear, which original device you can provide for refund and return to the manufacturer. To be clear, we cannot process a return on something you do not have, nor exchange monies for something no longer in your possession.
Please advise if you wish to cancel the half of the transaction that you have a right to cancel.

I still do not see the word "original" in Contract fromNorthland Hearing."& I would venture to say that word "original" will appear intheir future contract paperwork ... " Yes. It's common sense I should return bothoriginals, But if not fitted properly & lost what chance does consumer have. rn Ican honestly say I put that hearing a id in proper to best of my knowledge before itsomehow was lost.Also, I have used an older style hearing aid from VA & there is "no noise" fromthat when eating foods (or itch). The A4 Audibel's from Northland were veryNoisy when eating foods & Itchy.I hope I don't have to picket, Yelp, further complaints to Northland Hearing •.. Plusalready Revdex.com file.So far I have made 1 payment to Well's Fargo ($304.15) plus $160.00 for replacehearing aid, plus $234.40 to Geneva Woods ENT for consult (all out of pocket) &possible further evaluation.I am an Honest Guy. I am not comfortable with Audible A4 Hearing Aids. I am agood heart, Bill is consider $500. To Northland to Close Out Everything! Manywould not do this.
