Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because of the fact that the air conditioning was not repaired in a timely fashion, ***Uninhabitable residential premises*** simply passed the buck to us for scheduling and did not follow through to ensure that repairs had been madeAs a tenant I will not accept responsibility for scheduling repairs to the rental property, this is why I am paying rent. I understand *** is an agent working on behalf of the home owners, I also understand it is her obligation to provide adequate customer service regarding property managementThis was not the first time we have had communication problems with ***, more the straw that broke the camel's back.*** was suppose to be doing quarterly visits to the property, we hadn't seen her in over three yearsI do not recall *** following up on other maintenance requests, i.e., the screen door went without a screen for nearly year. ***'s lack of communication is a large part of why we movedShe had asked my wife if we would remove our complaint via email, I was not included in the message nor would I agree to itI was advised that our rent was to increase $a month on 6/15, the response I got when I told *** I could not afford that much was "Your lease ends 6/30"CO law requires that the homeowners give a notice to vacate when a tenant has resided on the premises for over a year.
Sincerely,
*** ***

In response to the previous tenant's rejection comments the warranty company that the owners chose along with all other HVAC companies were booked due to high heatI cannot make an owner use an vendor they do not want to use and as agent for the owner can only work in the perimeter they giveI cannot legally or morally spend their money against their wishes. As for lack of communication, when I count the emails from either the Male tenant or female tenant I count emails in yearsThat is a year or two a monthSo the assertion that there was a lack of communication is unwarranted. The quarterly visits are for the owner to make sure the home is being kept upThe owner visited the home every month to pick up mail and Each time a vendor visited they reported the condition of the home and alerted me if there was a concernThe tenants states he said he could not afford the rent on 6/and is stating I said your lease ends 6/He is not considering the multiple emails I sent to the woman discussing the terms for this year beginning in MayPer the terms of the lease, both tenants are equally responsible and can communicate regarding the lease and renewals. The tenants only stated they could not afford the new rent and not until this Revdex.com complaint did they complain of communication issues

Hello ***, This email is in response to the Revdex.com complaint against Northpoint Asset ManagementThe tenants reported their AC unit was malfunctioning on *** ***I responded the same day and let the tenants know the owner uses a Home Warranty company through *** ***
The first time I spoke to the warranty company I stayed on hold for minutes...once I got through I gave them the tenants phone numberThat was 6/8/The tenant then told me..."*** can you give them my work phone number it's *** my cell phone isn't working"> I called back the home warranty and minutes later gave them the tenants phone number againOn the 11th they reached out and my immediate response was "I put in the order last week, and I'm sorry I was not aware ***'s phone number changedOnce she told me I told the warranty company but obviously they did not reach out.I'm to understand it is back on...can you tell the correct number to give the warranty company?" I called warranty back again and they stated they had left a message for the tenantI asked them to reach out again for an apptThey did not call the tenants back The tenants stated their the number did not change and they then stayed on hold for minutes for home warranty as well to set up the apptOn the 15th....I responded "So the warranty company said the 29th but with begging and an additional minutes of hold time, I got the 23rd from 8-am *** *** will be thereI gave them AGAIN everybody's number for contactWhen I explained the I had to as agent of the owner use their home warranty their response was "***, I am sorry about the complaint to the Revdex.com as we were not aware of that you had to use the homeowners contractorsMaybe you should let the owners know with your knowledge that the way they are reacting to problems in the home is unlawfulIt's nothing personal towards you or your company" The tenants have since moved out and said they were going to withdraw the complaintYou can also see we responded many times to their request and never ignored their repairUnfortunately Northpoint is agent for the owner and I can only work in the perimeters they provide Regards, *** Poché Regional Manager Northpoint Asset Management *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***
