Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:They do not address the fillings not being required and other dentists not finding any cavities since that date on any of the four of us They do not address that I repeatedly contested the amounts and they did not advise me that the insurance would not cover the services and that any additional balance could be due Their is no resolution about the bill being reduced to zero

September 6,[redacted] presented to [redacted] north side practice, Northpointe Family Dentistry, with her family on 3/22/.At that time they had a complete exam, films and a cleaningInsurance paid @ 100% as the computer estimatedDr [redacted] was the doctor that completed the exams and fillings were indicated and treatment planned for [redacted] The fillings were completed on [redacted] on 3/27/2013, [redacted] on 3/28/and [redacted] on 3/29/Payments were made the day of service and the claims were sent to the Insurance Carrier. The Insurance carrier downgraded the fillings to the amalgam allowance on all posterior teethThis means that the patient pays their co-pay percentage for the amalgam fillings and then they also are responsible for the difference between the amalgam and composite/resin fillings .Almost all carriers do this and we cannot give an exact patient portion without preauthorizing them with the carrier in advance Monthly billing statements were sent, with no payments or response received.I sent a pre-collection letter on 12/3/and did finally hear from [redacted] in April Isent, via email, copies of the family's ledgers and Insurance eob's to her for her to review and see that it is how her Insurance paid, which is out of our controlIdid not hear from her and again sent an email on June 11,letting her know that I had not heard from her and asked what her intentions were in regards to her account balanceIn July 2014, since Ihad not heard from her,the account was sent to collection.Attached are the copies of the family ledger and the pre-collection letterUnfortunately the emails are no longer available as they were from
