At this time, I have been contacted directly by Northport Carpet Cleaning Pros regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" class="MsoNormal"> The company claims they are not responsible for damage that occurs in their possession outside of the cleaning service They provided me with another address (finally) which is *** *** *** *** *** ** Please try this address for mailing requests to them Otherwise, the phone number I listed for them *** *** ***, can be used as well When I finally spoke with the apparent owner, said his name was ** ***, he told me to 'do what I needed to do' in regards to filing with the state When I let him know that I had taken notes of the entire process and issue with the company to submit, his response was "oh yea? Did you also take note of the fact that you didn't pay me?" I did not pay the company for the service provided because there are still stains on our rug and the rug is clearly severely damaged After the last conversation I had with the company and apparent owner on 10/**, I have not contacted them again and they have not contacted me Their solution proposed was to take my rug and try to repair the holes on the rubber backing, repair the misshapen/wrinkled leather boarder and somehow repair the fact that the rug has shrunk about 2-inches all around I declined the offer as I do not trust my rug in their possession any longerPlease let me know if you have any other questionsI can be reached also at *** *** ***Thank you for your help in this matter***
