In response to this complaint on account # [redacted] which is in his wifes name [redacted] .? Unit was installed as per wifes instruction of location.? We installed a [redacted] to existing lines at a cost of $plus tax, a pound cylinder to existing line to a cook stove in the kitchen at a cost of $which was installed full of gas.? We installed a stainless steel flex line and a flared fitting at a cost of $25.00.? The service to hook up the heater install the tank of gas and parts was $plus taxFor a total of $as [redacted] signed the work order and gave us authorization to charge the credit card on file which was given to us from the customerNote the work order stated *COD [redacted] upon delivery and installation of unit.? We tried to run the credit card on file and it was declined.? We also tried to call customer with phone number provide and left messages on the voicemail for the customer to call and give payment for services and unit.? The calls were never returned and payment was never made.? As the end of month billing is due we tried to run the credit card that was provided to clear the balance due and it went through.? We were never contacted about problems with the heater or any gas issues from the customer.? In fact they placed an order for a gas refill by email so that tells me they were using the gas as well as the heater.? We did not refill the gas tank at the home as they still havent paid the balance due until we ran the card provided yesterday.? It has been over days since we installed the unit, if there was an issue with the heater or the gas that was installed I believe that was ample time for a complaint to be made and we could of resolved the issues then.? Please note the customer lives only a couple of miles from our location.? I can provide a signed work order from [redacted] with the charges of the service and the tank of gas.? As far as speaking with the customer I havent spoke with him since the site survey I did prior to the installation,? and for my office personnel Kelly she was more the professional with him over the phone as I was in the office with her, in fact the customer hung the phone up on her three times.? We are willing to return to the customers house to relocate the heater and willing to fill the tank with propane if need beI believe? the customer received what he asked for with the price that was quoted.? The issue we have here is payment being made accordingly

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The unit was installed on December 30th of 2107, when the installation took place I was not present, since I was working in NY, the card provided for the charge was [redacted] issued card and not my personal [redacted] Bank account card, [redacted] card was used to purchase propane gas sometime in November of 2017, the [redacted] card was declined because [redacted] had charges made by me in NY during that time and felt the charge in PA might have been fraudulent in nature due to two separate state locationsI was notified by [redacted] about declining an attempt to charge an amount of $and some change and asked me if I authorized such charges, I replied yes and that it's okEven though I authorized the charges on the [redacted] card the company did not make an attempt to charge the card again, I, at the time, thought that once I verified with [redacted] that the charge was given the green light, therefore it became a valid payment for Modern Gas towards the Stove heaterIt turns out that wasn't the case, but nevertheless I came home to PA on the 2nd January of from working in NY during the New Years Eve celebration and personally passed by the office in Nanticoke since is located directly on my way home, Glen was not present, but Kelly was, I personally contested the $service charge since it wasn't installed in a suitable area of the house and the person which delivered the unit used my existing cooking stove line and did not install a splitter which would make it possible for us to use a cooking stove at the same time, I also specified that the heating unit does not suit my needs, that is inefficient to heat up a one family home as I was told, that a regular cooking stove would do a much better job and that the unit was too expensive compared to other merchants online with the same unit, and to please come to remove the unit from my house and reimburse me for the cost, I was told that the guys working were very busy with other jobs and once they will be available they will do so, the fact that we never spoke is an outright lie.At this time I was still under the impression that the [redacted] card had gone through, which wasn't the case, yesterday (after a whole month) I finally received a call about the unit from Kelly and asked me what did I want to do about the unit, I stood firm in my decision about removal of the unit, thinking they were probably busy for a whole month and had no time to pick it up, it turns out that wasn't the case, they just let the clock run about for a whole month and decided the fraudulently charge another card without my approval for the unit and other costs, after a heated argument, Kelly kept insisting on the phone that I purchased the unit and hung up, then I called back to verify the hang up and proceed with the request for removal not knowing she was upset she couldn't convince me to keep it, because she had already charged the [redacted] card without my authorization and realized that could be a problem now.The unauthorized charge she made will cause an overdraft charge in my bank account and it will affect me in many other negative ways since the money available in my personal bank account was calculated for different things, also affect my possibility of attending my year old son's birthday on this coming Saturday, since I work in NY, Kelly had not authorization to use the [redacted] card and never told me she would do so while on the phone, her main concern was to convince me after the charge took place.I request immediate reversal of the $pending in my account, removal of the faulty unit, and an updated bill after cost Regards, [redacted]

I have credited the account $90.09. I credited back the second delivery and finance charges from the second delivery since there was a hole in the tank. I also credited an additional $which is the difference between what the customer normally uses approximately gallons and the
equipment lease charge which totaled 98.50. I took the $and subtracted $and arrived at the additional $16.31. I did speak to our office staff and explained to them that they should have came to this conclusion as well

The check went out the same day that I received the complaint fron the Revdex.com. No way I could have got it out quicker

Our company does charge a rental fee for low usage because even though the customer may be purchasing very little propane we still have to insure the tank and equipment on site. We are also responsible for all and any maintence on the tank and equipment. On 2-8-we did stop by the
customers residence and although we didn't put propane into the tank because none was needed we still perioically stop by and check the equipment. In regards to the $fee for termination of service on the back of our delivery tickets it is clearly stated that "Termination, interruption, of gas service or non routed gas delivery will incur up to a $service charge." In regard to this account we do feel as though we did provide the termination of service at a reduced rate which out company deems fair.Sincerely,Modern Gas Sales, Inc

We will remove our propane tank and the customer will get a refund less the charges incurred in the tank removal processThe customer could avoid these charges by using the propane currently in the tank and then calling us to remove it.? The customers previous delivery was on 5/3/and
no payment was made until the sme day the tank was locked-out.? Unfortunately, if we didn't lock off the tank we probably still wouldn't have received payment as the origional delivery was severely past due.Modern Gas Sales, Inc
