At this time, I have not been contacted by Northshore Volkswagen regarding complaint ID My credit card company also was not able to resolve the issueI plan to file a small claims court case against Northshore Volkswagen because I feel very strongly
that because of their error in diagnosing the problem parts and labor were charge to me that were not needed I offered a very fair settlement, I am not trying to get work done for free, I just asked for a 40% reduction to my chargesI am sure that with the high mark up for parts and labor dealership's service departments charge that would have still made money on my service

Review: I bought a key from the dealership. After purchasing my key when I got home the key would no longer work. Now they are telling me I have to pay another 300$ to get another key. I've spent 700$ towing the car to and from as well as buying a key should work!Desired Settlement: Another key.

Review: Did not correctly diagnose the problem I was having. As a result I was over charged for work and parts that may not have been necessary to replace. Wrote a letter to the service manager and got no response. Tried calling service manager and he didnt return my calls.Desired Settlement: I am writing to dispute the amount charged for recent service work completed on my car. I left my car for service on July 28th to have my A/C system diagnosed. I was told that the A/C system was over charged and in addition I would need to have a new compressor, drier and C-valve replaced.After having all this work done, I was told my car was fixed. I picked up my car late on Friday July 31ST, and after driving it a few miles realized that it wasnt blowing cold. It was too late to bring my car back that day, so I had to wait until Tuesday to bring it back in. Thats when I started to research possible other causes for it not blowing cold.I found out that a very common issue with this vintage VW bug is the blend door allowing hot air to mix with the cold air. It should have been easy for your tech. to suspect this problem because of the pieces of gray foam stuck in the vents on top of the dash. How he missed seeing that I dont know but if he would have at least checked the tempera

I plan to file a small claims court case against Northshore Volkswagen because I feel very strongly that because of their error in diagnosing the problem parts and labor were charge to me that were not needed. Very poor service. We had a major issue with our 5 year old VW Jetta. The engine failed on it. When I called to get answers to why this would have happened, the mechanic was very RUDE and unable to provide me with an answer.
