My vehicle was towef to Alamo City after a collision. The Insurance co authorized repair, and there were a at least two follow up estimates/approvals need. Alamo misread several emails from insurance. They have made repeated promises as to when repairs will be complete. That never happens. They promise to return calls but regularly fail to do so.
They have had the Vehicle since 11 Oct 18.
Spoke w/ *** this AM. More excuses. Asked to speak with the General Manager. Mr *** said he would have him call me back. Hasn't Happened in several hours.
This matter has caused me to incur additional and unnecessary rental car costs. That is unfair.
Vehicle owned by *** was dropped off at the shop 10/11/2018. Mr. with Farmers Insurance inspected and sent us an estimate on 10/12/2018. During the course of repairs there was a need to get approval four times. With the amount of repairs it is not uncommon for repairs to take as long as they did. The insurance company as well as tried to get the items needed for the repairs approved and ordered. If *** would be kind enough to call me *** at ***-***-*** or e-mail me I will look at the time frame of repairs and see if an adjustment could be considered to help with a few days of rental. Referring to the lack of follow up calls we strive to update customers as much as we can. I apologize or any lack of communication that Mr. did’nt receive.
