Dear Miss [redacted] ,I have reviewed your comments in detail and agree that initially we did not do the repair to your quarter panel properly We repair over 1,cars per month and this was not our typical quality repair and for that I am truly sorry. With that said, we ended up replacing your vehicle's quarter panel to make the repair right at a cost to us of over $2,providing even more value than what the insurance company paid for We also provided you with a replacement vehicle at no charge during the re-repair We went to great lengths to make you "whole".Again, I am sorry for the delay we caused Also, based on the above notes, I am not prepared to pay additionally for loss of use of your vehicle but I am open to discussing this with you by phone or in personOur goal was to take care of this bad situation and that continues to be our goal [redacted] ***President Northside Collision

I contacted [redacted] and he is correct, my staff did a poor job of keeping him updated on the state of the repairs to his vehicle I take any customer complaint VERY seriously as more than 80% of our business comes from word of mouth Syracuse is a tight community, one which we've been a part of now for over years Mr [redacted] and I came to what a mutual agreement in recompense for our lack of detail Thank you [redacted] , your feedback will propel us to improve our internal controls and communication! That's a hard questionI felt obligated to take my vehicle to the same place since it was there beforeI know by law I could take my vehicle anyplace but once it was taken to Northside the first time they would not allow me to take my vehicle to another repair shop of my choice as I asked several timesInitially after the first accident I had a choice but was rushed so yes and no....I would say yes I was given the choice initially but then no because once I said "no I wanted to take it somewhere else before" it was repaired the adjuster (Matt and others called me on my cell when they went to look at my vehicle at the Tow shops location before a repair was done) would not allow me to change my mindThroughout the process I asked to switch repair shops and was deniedThis is an issue with [redacted] as well but will probably have to file a separate complaintAll accidents I was "not at fault" and still had to pay my $deductible on this oneThere was NOT one, not even one repair done correctly and I don't feel [redacted] or myself should have paid for thisI absolutely would NOT have paid Northside $and I feel I deserve this backI would never sign off or play $for the repairs that were doneAll in all your looking at a beautiful vehicle that was worth $23,easily and by the end of this saga was pushing to be moved to a scrap metal yardNobody was held accountable and this was a nightmare of a situation from beginning to endNobody wanted to provide answers and fingers were pointing everywhereThroughout the process I had to argue to get things fixed correctly and they never were I was forced to give up as your never going to beat a repair shop or insurance company even if they are 110% wrong

The customer did have the misfortune of her loaner car developing brake problems during her use Normally, this would be a small issue, we would simply tow the vehicle (using a local tow company) and bring her a fresh car to drive In this case, she had driven the car over miles away
to Balston Spa, far outside the distance we allow customers to take our cars We will tow our vehicles hours per day within a mile radius but the client is responsible for any towing outside that radius This is explained to customers in detail and they have to specifically initial that explanation on the contract so that the customer knows they are operating at their own risk when outside the miles With that said, we bend over backwards to work with each and every customer and would have helped with the tow bill on this loaner car, but before we had the chance to discuss this, the client decided she was taking her car to another shop for repairs So, MrsMagruder used our car for several days, took it out of town culminating in an $tow bill and repairs needed to the loaner, and then took her repair elsewhere I do not belief this is operating in good faith We were able to get her insurance company (through much negotiation) to pay the tow bill so that she was not out of pocket for the expense I believe we went above and beyond for this client I would posit that most companies suffering loss to their property and having business pulled would not have worked so diligently on the client's behalf The staff at Northside Collision remained respectful and cheerful through this loss Scott J***President,Northside Collision

Hello, An apology is what I would like from Northside collisionHere is the additional information; When I contacted the president of the company I had told him that I was going to pursue contacting the States attorney general office of my car was not returned to me by December 5, He gave
me an update that evening on my car and said he was waiting for additional partsHe said in the meantime they were going to detail the inside of my carOn December 4, I went and picked up my car upon inspecting it I found a chip on my hood but decided to not go through the hassle of bringing it upI got inside my car and drove homeThe inside of my car smelled terrible, to the point where whatever I did I could not get the smell outI returned to my home to find a "*** ***" receipt left in the visor of my drivers side dated on December 3, I was under the impression that my car detail was being done in houseI did not give Northside Collision permission to drive my carI would also like to know if they removed my personal license plates and used dealer plates on my car since I did not give them permission to drive my car. Thank you!***

Miss ***, You have a valid point here about how we handled your claim and for our error, I am terribly sorry It is true that you told my staff you needed a loaner initially and that we failed to provide one The staff member
you advised did not follow procedure and document your need on our loaner calendar- inexcusable Upon returning for the electrical problem, my staff did offer a loaner car - my understanding is that you opted not to do so at the time The electrical problem was clearly not repair related but turned out to be an aftermarket blue tooth transmitter installed by another shop We also re-painted the chipped paint to your fender- hopefully to your satisfaction I'm not sure I understand about your missed time at work as you have vehicles - please call my personal cell at 315-430-to discuss this further My hope is that you are satisfied with our efforts and again, I am sorry we did not provide the loaner as we should have. *** *** President Northside Collision

Hello. I filed a complaint recently and the business reached out and did offer to pay for the rental car and paid 150$ of the payment we made in the car. Thank you                       [redacted]

That's a hard question. I felt obligated to take my vehicle to the same place since it was there before. I know by law I could take my vehicle anyplace but once it was taken to Northside the first time they would not allow me to take my vehicle to another repair shop of my choice as I asked several...

times. Initially after the first accident I had a choice but was rushed so yes and no....I would say yes I was given the choice initially but then no because once I said "no I wanted to take it somewhere else before" it was repaired the adjuster (Matt and others called me on my cell when they went to look at my vehicle at the Tow shops location before a repair was done) would not allow me to change my mind. Throughout the process I asked to switch repair shops and was denied. This is an issue with [redacted] as well but will probably have to file a separate complaint. All accidents I was "not at fault" and still had to pay my $500 deductible on this one. There was NOT one, not even one repair done correctly and I don't feel [redacted] or myself should have paid for this. I absolutely would NOT have paid Northside $500 and I feel I deserve this back. I would never sign off or play $500 for the repairs that were done. All in all your looking at a beautiful vehicle that was worth $23,000 easily and by the end of this saga was pushing to be moved to a scrap metal yard. Nobody was held accountable and this was a nightmare of a situation from beginning to end. Nobody wanted to provide answers and fingers were pointing everywhere. Throughout the process I had to argue to get things fixed correctly and they never were I was forced to give up as your never going to beat a repair shop or insurance company even if they are 110% wrong.
