Review: I received a grant from workforce 1 to take lessons for my cdl A licence. I had a eemergency and had to take my wife to the ER and I have documents. The next day I took my driving lessons and went to the office to ask if they can reschedule those hours the receptionist said no. I ask if there's anything take can be worked out and she said speak to the boss. I said okay thank and have a good day. She also tried to get me to sign for the whole 20hrs lessons in one shot and I explained that I will sign as I take the lessons on the date of. She got upset. When I got home I received a phone call stating that I was no longer in the program and canceled my road test and lessons. When I ask what I did wrong she had no comment and said that's what the boss wants. She stated that she didn't understand why I wanted to reschedule my hours when I getting my classes for free. I told her that the city is paying for a service that's not being provided. She said oh well you no longer in the program. I Di nothing wrong and the company took the money was very distasteful on how they treated me. This license was my future and means to take care of my family and with no reason they just threw me to the curb. They don't care, they just take what money they can get out you and if or when they feel like it they get rid of you. I need help please on how to deal with this. Should I get a lawyer. It's there any way you can help. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like my full refund from the grant that I received so that I can go to another school so I can receive my license which is so important to me and my family. Thank you.
