Require a $30 deposit before service rendered, but do not call and let customer know the problem with the item or inform the customer what is wrong.Dropped TV off 4/23/14, waited a month and called , was told have not had a change to look at it, called week later said waiting on a part. still no call. 6/9/14 stopped In said still waiting on part.should keep customer informed. Policy is if fix or don't fix you will not get $30 back. If fix will deduct from service cost.Desired SettlementJust want it put on record since it has happen before had to pick up TV because no contact and the time it take for repairs. I am sure he get a lot of $30 from customers because they finally pick the TV up since it take so long for service and no calls or letter to customer

Paid for services a week in advance and after they took my payment they did not reach back out to me. Call into the business on that following Monday and ask if my equipment was in. Salesman replied yes and that they would come out Wednesday April 13th at 9am. On the morning of installation no one had arrived and it was after 9am. I called into the business and the manager stated that something had came up and he would come out at a later time. I called at 3:00 pm and the salesman stated that they wouldn't be able to come out today and asked would I be off another day. I replied back to the guy that my only other day off would be Saturday and he replied we are short staff on Saturdays and will not be able to install. He then asked if I could have someone let them in at 9am Thursday morning and I told him I didn't have anyone to come sit until 3. I then called back and spoke with the manager and he stated they didn't come out because I told them I had something to do . So he had a attitude and then hung up on me. This is a contractor for directv. I will never have any dealings with them ever again !!!!!!!!!!!","neg-1

I was charged for one product but received less than what I paid for.I went to Northside electronics to have my [redacted] wired for sound. And to have my windows tinted about 8 months ago. I was charged over $200 to have my truck wired with what was supposed to be zero gauge wiring. A few days after I bought speakers and had them installed, I noticed my lights were dimming at the point of bass from my speakers. Being concerned I took my truck to another shop to have it looked at. Come to find out Northside electronics installed 4 gauge wiring instead of zero gauge causing voltage issues with my truck. I also paid northside electronic over $200 to have my windows tinted. I was supposed to get 35%, within the legal limit, on my front two windows and 20% the rest of the way around. I found out today, March 6, when I went in to have my vehicle inspected that they put 23% tint on the front causing me to not be able to register my vehicle. In conclusion, not only did they sale me a zero gauge wiring kit and installed a four gauge wiring kit, they caused me to not be able to get my car inspected due to illegal tint that they installed on the front windows of my truck. This is a major waste of my time and hard earned money.Desired SettlementI don't want to do anymore Business with Northside electronics. I would like to take my truck to a more professional business and have things done correctly. Not only do I have to pay to get my front windows tinted again, I have to pay to have the work that Northside electronic done, to be undone. I would like to request a full refund. I do not have my receipts for the work that they done, but I know they have them in their computers. Although the complaint was filed initially on March 6, 2015, I first became knowledgeable about this on April 8, 2015 when I received documentation through the [redacted]. The details and actions taken in regard to this complaint are stated below.April 8, 2015 I contacted the consumer via telephone (phone number provided by the Revdex.com) to discuss the complaint. The consumer does not have any documentation of having been to Northside Electronics for the stated work done on his vehicle. I have searched through the past years sales receipts and we have been unable to locate anything documenting these services having been purchased. He indicated it was approximately 8 months ago.The consumer also stated that he never returned to Northside Electronics once he felt we had not met his expectations. I asked the consumer if he had attempted to contact me with his concerns or if he had spoken with anyone else at Northside Electronics to discuss his concerns or complaint and he stated he had not.If the consumer could identify the month/date more specifically when the service occurred, we would re-search our sales receipts again as we file our receipts by date.If he could produce any documentation of the services he stated we provided, we would be more than happy to review & hopefully resolve this. However, without any documentation or return visit or discussion at the time of the service descrepancy, we cannot do anything further.
