Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me UPDATE 5/2/16-- I disagree with the companies response, professionalism and the amount of time it has taken to get to this point BUT at least their insurance company has been notified and has contacted me! The investigation process has begunTheir insurance company has taken a verbal recorded statement from meThey are visiting the house today to take pictures of the areaWhen I was asked about the possibility of a moving company causing the damage to the driveway my reply was not attacking the professionalism of Northside landscaping but simply stating the factsThe facts are that we were moved by a corporate moving company that had us sign multiple documents stating there was no damage to our house, driveway or property that was movedTheir moving trucks were never in our driveway because they could not fitWe have pictures and documents to back this upThere trucks were never in our driveway therefor they could not have caused the damageAn average single axil dump truck weighs about 19,lbsSix yards of top soil weighs about 10,lbsA professional company is responsible for informing their customers of the risks associated with delivering this size of product Northside Landscaping is responsible for being safe and informativeWe were never informed of the possibility of damage to our driveway We never signed anything , we were never given optionsIt is the companies job to know their project and its limitationsThe driver was unable to operate the truck properly therefor he had to go up and down the drive way more than onceThis could all of been avoided with a simple statement from the company advising us of where to dump the top soilThey did not advise us of the risks They are at fault [redacted] Regards, [redacted] ***

We received both your verbal complaint and the complaint left on the Revdex.comThe yards of topsoil weighing roughly lbswas ordered on 4/18/and delivered the next day 04/19/In order to bring you a load that size and not charge you for multiple loads being brought over by
a standard (SMALL) pickup truck we sent our single axel (LARGE) truck which we use on all loads of this sizeYou placed a call to us on 4/20/explaining the issueYou indicated that you had just built the home and moved in to where in an effort to assess the problem over the phone I gave alternate suggestions as to what possibly could have caused such, i.ethe moving company which also uses LARGE trucks or possibly a driveway that was poured incorrectlyYour response to such was that it couldn’t have been those people because they are “professionals”Clearly trying to insinuate that the business I have owned for years and have an A+ rating with Angie’s List based on customer reviews in addition to a Super Service Award does not make me a professional in the services I performBeing that we clearly disagree on that, I being the professional business person that I am, contacted another set of professionalsMy insurance company, which handles these types of issuesI contacted them that Wednesday 04/20/and they got back to me the following Monday 04/25/which I then in turn give you the direct contact of the person that would be handling your claimYou in turn waited two more days 04/27/to write your complaintUnfortunately, I do not decide for the insurance company the pace in which they perform their services. I am not able to speak for why or how your driveway cracked which is why simply writing you a check for damage not yet assessed is not an optionWe are handling the situation through the appropriate channels necessary to rectify the situationI apologize if that is not happening at the pace you would have likedI hold myself and my employees at a very high standard and although you do not deem us professionals in the service we provide, we doWe understand that you are upset and rightfully so and if the situation was our fault we will handle it like the professionals we areWe wish you and your family well in your new home Sincerely, Andrew J*** Owner/Operator Northside Landscaping Services E160th StNoblesville, IN Phone: 317-774-Email: t***@gmail.com

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  UPDATE 5/2/16-- I disagree with the companies response, professionalism  and the amount of time it has taken to get to this point BUT at least their insurance company has been notified and has contacted me!  The investigation process has begun. Their insurance company has taken a verbal recorded statement from me. They are visiting the house today to take pictures of the area. When I was asked about the possibility of a moving company causing the damage to the driveway my reply was not attacking the professionalism of Northside landscaping but simply stating the facts. The facts are that we were moved by a corporate moving company that had us sign multiple documents stating there was no damage to our house, driveway or property that was moved. Their moving trucks were never in our driveway because they could not fit. We  have pictures and documents to back this up. There trucks were never in our driveway therefor they could not have caused the damage. An average single axil dump truck weighs about 19,000 lbs. Six yards of top soil weighs about 10,800 lbs. A professional company is responsible for informing their customers of the risks associated with delivering this size of product.  Northside Landscaping is responsible for being safe and informative. We were never informed of the possibility of damage to our driveway . We never signed anything , we were never given options. It is the companies job to know their project and its limitations. The driver was unable to operate the truck properly therefor he had to go up and down the drive way more than once. This could all of been avoided with a simple statement from the company advising us of where to dump the top soil. They did not advise us of the risks . They are at fault[redacted]

We received both your verbal complaint and the complaint left on the Revdex.com. The 6 yards of topsoil weighing roughly 1200 lbs. was ordered on 4/18/16 and delivered the next day 04/19/16...

In order to bring you a load that size and not charge you for multiple loads being brought over by a standard (SMALL) pickup truck we sent our single axel (LARGE) truck which we use on all loads of this size. You placed a call to us on 4/20/16 explaining the issue. You indicated that you had just built the home and moved in to where in an effort to assess the problem over the phone I gave alternate suggestions as to what possibly could have caused such, i.e. the moving company which also uses LARGE trucks or possibly a driveway that was poured incorrectly. Your response to such was that it couldn’t have been those people because they are “professionals”. Clearly trying to insinuate that the business I have owned for 20 years and have an A+ rating with Angie’s List based on customer reviews in addition to a Super Service Award does not make me a professional in the services I perform. Being that we clearly disagree on that, I being the professional business person that I am, contacted another set of professionals. My insurance company, which handles these types of issues. I contacted them that Wednesday 04/20/16 and they got back to me the following Monday 04/25/16 which I then in turn give you the direct contact of the person that would be handling your claim. You in turn waited two more days 04/27/16 to write your complaint. Unfortunately, I do not decide for the insurance company the pace in which they perform their services.  I am not able to speak for why or how your driveway cracked which is why simply writing you a check for damage not yet assessed is not an option. We are handling the situation through the appropriate channels necessary to rectify the situation. I apologize if that is not happening at the pace you would have liked. I hold myself and my employees at a very high standard and although you do not deem us professionals in the service we provide, we do. We understand that you are upset and rightfully so and if the situation was our fault we will handle it like the professionals we are. We wish you and your family well in your new home.   Sincerely, Andrew J[redacted] Owner/Operator Northside Landscaping Services 7875 E. 160th St. Noblesville, IN 46060 Phone: 317-774-9100 Email: t[redacted]@gmail.com
