The problem is I ordered one size and received something else. I should not have to make the product "work", I ordered custom made baseboard. It is a smaller size and gives a different look. If I wanted to go this thin I could have and would have ordered premade baseboard somewhere else for less cost. I did not want, or think I should have to invest more money into the wrong product to have it returned. I feel they owed me delivery because of the door I had to pick up. It did not seem unreasonable for them to pick it up for the return.

When one orders custom mill work and specifies 5/8" thick base that is what you should get. He was trying to tell me that wasn't the case on the phone. I did ask for them to replace it within a week and first he said he was running 5/8" on the coming Monday and he could use some of that for half my project. Which doesn't add up if he claims that it is actually 9/16". Anyway, he said he would talk to his partner and see what they could do, and came back within minutes and said they were cutting me off. They did not come back and say they could do it in weeks or even 3, they just said they were cutting me off. I think after sleeping on it, he realized that legally he was in trouble and then offered to take it back. Probably knowing I would not be able to ship back 16' long pieces. And yes delivery is always included when making a purchase like this. He claims it is not included but that means he delivered it out of the kindness of his heart. He wants to bring up the dollars in wood he didn't charge for, but I never charged him for the damage done to my over head door he backed into. In my opinion Northside Mill and planing has really poor business practices and have zero integrity and I am surprised they are still in business. I will be sure to share my experience with everyone in business for mill work

Below is our response to a letter from you dated 1-10 18 regarding complaint ID [redacted]. Unfortunately, the customer continues to be dissatisfied with a product but yet has refused on two different occasions to return the product for a full refund. The customer is making a claim for about half the value of the product, $600.00 for “hassle and having the wrong material” but yet he wishes to keep material that he claims will not work in his application. This does not make any sense. The customer’s “hassle” could have ended on Nov.21st2017 when he was offered a full refund but yet here we are today, 1-15-18 discussing how to resolve this situation. Why does the customer want to keep material that does not meet his needs and expectations? It appears that the customer wants to keep the material, use it, and receive a credit $600.00 Many of his statements are very troubling and inaccurate and I’m sure you would agree that our over 22 years in business without any claim to the Revdex.com is a clear statement to our business ethics. I am sorry we could not meet the customer’s expectations on this part of his project. Best regards, [redacted]
