Review: I purchases a gift certificate for four fishing trips as a gift. The recipient was unable to redeem the trips because I was sent an incorrect voucher number. I contacted Northstar 2 Fishing twice via emails and twice by phone. I was never given the correct voucher number.Desired Settlement: I paid $90.00 for the gift certificate

I am responding to the inquiry you had from [redacted]. I spoke with [redacted] twice myself as the owner. We had a computer qlich with our progran and could not send out the vouchers we called everyone and told them that all they had to do was make a reservation, no numbers needed, then come down and give us their names which were on a master list. [redacted] called twice and we told her this, We have a record of her payment which was $75,.00 paid on Dec., **, 2012, NOT $90.00 paid on Dec. [redacted]. Her certificate is still valid and can be used at any time. It does say on her payment reciept from paypal that a refund must be filed within 60 days from purchase. We will still honor the fishing trips, but paypals refund policy is for 60 days, and not for more than she paid. She is asking for $90.00

After the second call we never heard from [redacted], has never responded and the Tel. number you have listed for her, and the email address have produced no responses. We sold over 75 gift trips last Dec. and all showed with no problems other than [redacted], and one other due to illness who called and will use their next year.

I really don;t know what to do about this, I feel we have tried to deal with the computer glitch fairly and think we did well by the responses. I can furnish you with some other customer names that bought them but hope I will not need to release that information.

Please tell [redacted] that her trips will be honored, she needs only to make a reservation come down and give us her name which we have on our list. I can print out a copy of her payment of $75.00 to paypal so you will see the correct amount she paid.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The business never told me to call with the voucher number and when I booked the trip online as I was directed to do, the employees on the boat did not honor the voucher. I have not received any feedback from the company by phone or email which I why I contacted the Revdex.com to have this issue resolved. The company never tried to work with me to resolve this issue. I reached out to them multiple times and was never able to get a response from them. I sent the Revdex.com proof of payment from paypal that I erroneously listed at $90.00 which should be listed at the correct $75.00. This response does not resolve the issue. We were unable to use the voucher and would like a refund
