Northstar accepted The Jankovich Company, knowig they have this sorted history involving the Jankovich family - Todd Jankovich - and father Tom is FULLY AWARE.

The acts involve months of harassing, threatening, disturbing calls made to my parents in the final weeks leading up to my Father's death. There were hundreds of calls made over several months. All ship to shore.

Background: They previously employed two brothers.
When they began to drug test for marijuana, one decided to continue smoking pot and took a job with another Water Taxi operator who didn't require testing. The other continued to smoke pot and cheated on all of his tests: first asking his best friend to provide clean urine for him, THEN ACTUALLY TAKING HIS YOUNG SON WITH HIM AND FORCING HIM TO URINATE. (This "son" has recently been informed that the man was not actually his father - a revelation to him.)

(I feel it is also important to point out that I recall meeting the cowardly criminal Todd at the fuel dock perhaps a couple of times briefly when I either came with XXXX or visited. But the times we engaged and I spoke with him, were when he made visits to the Redondo Beach apartment I shared with XXXX, IN ORDER TO BUY POT FROM XXXX. (We all found it interesting that they drug tested their employees but let their own son run free. Perhaps that’s why he became such a punk. He was never held accountable.)

Ultimately the employee/roommate XXXX went out with the woman who became his second wife. He left on a date with her and came back three days later. By the time they were marred four months later, she was six months pregnant. Go figure? Because she had swiftly moved in with us and because I knew quite clearly that XXXX was not the father of her impending baby, she resented me from the start . . . . . and I her.
Todd Jankovich belongs in prison, and many have expressed that they actually deserve even worse than that. Had GTE done their job(s), indeed what they had assured us and promised they would do, we remain convinced that XXXX, Todd Jankovich and a third Jankovich and Sons employee/ criminal would have gone to prison years ago. They assured us they were tracking the calls, made my parents call a number and record the number provided in a recorded message each time. In the end, after weeks and weeks of evil, disturbing harassment and threats by Todd Jankovich and pals, GTE claimed they were then going cease activities, due to the costs and hassle of providing all of the requested information/ proof, BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE SICK CALL PLACED AND TRACKED HAD COME SHIP-TO-SHORE!

And everyone keeps asking us whether or not TOM JANKOVICH, MUST HAVE ALSO KNOWN WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THE FUEL DOCK STAFF AT THE TIME, AS HE WAS THERE AND PRESUMABLY IN CHARGE? If not, he has bee afforded the opportunity now for several years to address it, yet has failed to do so.
My parents were instructed to accept the disturbing calls and wait for the criminal(s) to disconnect. They were instructed to then dial *57 and record the date and time of the call(s). They were told to then call a number - 1-800-483-6922 - and provide the information regarding the traced call. They had to also write down a series of numbers related to the tracking of that previous call. All aimed at putting Todd in prison.

They didn’t answer all the time. He was quite ill. It was hurting him badly. But they continued to try to track as many calls as possible, fully expecting the culprits would be heading to prison where they still belong. As an example, these come from just one short period of the listed calls as follows:

9/16 - 10:45 am, 11:31 am, 11:40 am, 7:40 pm - (FOUR CALLS IN ONE DAY OVER A 9 HOUR PERIOD - SICK!)

Please remain mindful that this represents just one brief period during several months of harassment.

Also understand that these were answered calls. Many dozens more were not. How would Tom and his wife have felt?

All these calls were made ship-to-shore. Most were made by Todd Jankovich. It's time for him to feel it.

The phone company was supposed to relay all the tracing/ tracking info to Torrance PD - Officer Glass - Responsible for Case # 98-10058. (310-618-5583) Had they done so, Todd Jankovich is a convicted felon.

So again, we are not talking about a few mischievous prank calls from immature trash. These were literally hundreds of calls over several months - THE LAST WEEKS OF MY FATHER'S LIFE.
We aim to make sure everyone knows what the name Jankovich truly means, and what detestable acts were committed on their boats, against a dying old man, with Todd Jankovich at the helm. We all hope we can inscribe these acts, and our reporting of it, into the legacy of that family and business, forever.
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE CAPABLE AND GUILTY OF SICK CRIMES.

We purchased our Hot Tub back in 2001 and have had 15 years of enjoyment! Whenever we had any concerns we would call Holly, Marc or Wade & someone would guide us through with troubleshooting and we were able to get it resolved. They are always helpful, call us right back even if it is after hours or days they are not open. We were so happy with the service we received that when we were looking for a Woodstove it was a no brain-er to purchase one from Northstar. We have had our Lopi Endeavor Woodstove for 6 years and never had an issue. We have saved so much on our heating bills that we hardly turn it on. We are planning to purchase another one from Northstar to install in our vacation home in North Carolina. We would highly recommend using Northstar Energy! [redacted]

We have been customers of North Star Energy for over 20 years, we have had a gas fireplace installed and we also purchased a hot tub from Holly, delivered and installed by her crew. We have continued with North Star over the years for all of our fireplace and hot tub needs. Whenever service or repairs have been needed, they were expertly done and handled quickly and efficiently. We can go in to the store whenever we have questions and we have always received excellent service and guidance. As far as we are concerned, North Star is the only fireplace and hot tub business that we ever plan to deal with. They have always been reliable and they are always there for us when we need something.

I purchased my Lopi wood stove from NorthStar and had them install it. I have been very pleased with both the stove and the install. I also have been very pleased with the service I have received from them and 4 years later everything is great. I would definitely recommend them!

Northstar energy is a great place to buy a Hot Spring Spa. They are extremely helpful and take the time to sit and answer all your questions. After purchasing the spa you can call them for help, go up and have your water tested for no charge and get helpful hints on how to maintain your spa. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I had a minor problem and they were quick to fix it. If you are getting a spa get it fom Northstar!
