The only charges paid for by customer were agreed for in advance for diagnosis of items The warranty company was asked what the policy in general covered as far as remotesIf the module in remotes was bad we would have put in a claim and they would have a recordSince we did not actually put in a claim request they did not have a claim in system or record of requestWe did speak with warranty company I personally took remotes and replaced batteries with our parts department and verified that was the only issue and no claim needed Batteries and repair were done at no charge to customer If the customer chooses to have the repairs quoted, performed, we will be willing to apply the diagnostic charges, to those repairs

Do not buy here, the trouble starts after the sale, once they got your money your screwedAbsolutely horrible serviceThe first time I brought my car in they tried to tell me the banging coming from the rear was because my car had a CVT transmission, well it does not, you would expect them to know thisThe leather on my seats went from black to light grey due to wear after only milesThe first time they warrantied it, subsequent time while still under bumper to bumper they tried to weasel out of warrantying itThe latest issue is a check engine light (likely a camshaft position sensor or a faulty active valve control system) I asked them if these component were covered under the powertrain warranty and they said they don't know? How can you not know if a specific component is covered

I did agree to charges for the diagnosis with the understanding that if the warranty company covered any of it I would be reimbursed $The warranty company stated that they do cover reprogramming, just as the company said was the problemSo, I would've got some of the diagnosis fee back If the company did call the warranty company for a general question on my contact, the warranty company puts that general question on record as well Whether a claim was made our not The customer service agent at warranty company explained no phone calls other then my own were madeThere were None from NorthtownRegards,*** ***

actually put in a claim request they did not have a claim in system or record of request. We did speak with warranty company.
I personally took remotes and replaced batteries with our parts department and verified that was the only issue and no claim needed.
Batteries and repair were done at no charge to customer.
If the customer chooses to have the repairs quoted, performed, we will be willing to apply the diagnostic charges, to those repairs.

Great service. Very honest group of employees. It's a pleasure doing business with them.
