I received an email in regards to complaint ID [redacted] that stated that the business had responded and that the response was attached or below the email. I could find nothing. Was this sent out in error or was there a response that wasn't attached?

Review: I purchased a used Toyota Prius 2010 from Rhinelander auto center out of Rhinelander Wisconsin on JUly 6th 2013. The dealer told me I was approved with two thousand dollars down. This needed to be in cash cause I was a out of state customer and out of state checks take longer to clear and I would not be able to take the vehicle until it cleared. I made the arrangements to take the money out of my bank and along with it insurance money. I stopped by the insurance company the dealer faxed the VIN# over to my insurance carrier & drove to Rhinelander Wisconsin, I live 3.5hrs north of there in Ishpeming Michigan. It seemed fine and the price was o.k but on the test drive I said the brakes are bad. (Under recall from Toyota since spring, which they new, just had recall done locally) They would lose power when you hit a bump. I new it was a used car on a new lot and they just wanted it gone.Upon doing the paperwork with [redacted],(the head finance person) he went thru the paperwork with me and it seemed totally fine. Very professional or so it seemed. He glazed over trade and down payment but it all sounded right as he went thru it. Just as I was about to leave the dealership he asks me to sign one more thing. Gap insurance form, I asked what it was for nearly 600 additional dollars but the car was out front and I had a three hr ride home so what was I to do. I signed. August 15th I called [redacted] to cancel the gab insurance contract which he said he would. Never did anything. Then said he would send in the forms for me. Never did that either. Finally I asked for the number to do it myself he refused. Looking at the gab policy made me realize there was a error. I put 2 thousand dollars cash down and they gave me 1 thousand for my trade totaling 3 thousand down. Contract says 1 thousand down and 1 thousand trade. They laughed at me when I brought this to there attention. I wish for my thousand dollars to returned to me or put on my installment contract as I have paid this money. I am receiving no help from Ally financial who bought the contract. "we only go by what is on the contract and you signed it so nothing we can do. I need help.
