The insurance information initially received was not current. The patient has since provided updated insurance information and the claims have been submitted for processing. There is currently no balance on the patient's account since the claims are out to insurance. If there is any remaining balance after insurance, the patient will be able to arrange a payment plan.

response because: 
My insurance has declined to pay for the charges, which is why I asked for a payment plan. I'm not asking for the claim to be submitted through my insurance. I'm simply asking why I wasn't communicated with when I contested the charges and submitted my information, and why I asked for a payment plan I was told there was one, when in fact there wasn't.

We have reviewed our records and determined that the patient's insurance was not on record until October 2015. The account has now been removed from collections and claims submitted to insurance.
