I think he needs some schooling classesThe water heater is under warranty from North West Air & Water for a year! And the thermo couple needs to be replacedThere's no difference in a regular home and a modular home when it comes to water heatersThe only difference is modular homes need a fresh air return!!

IN REGAURDS TO THE INSTALLATION DATE THAT WAS ORIGINAL NOTED ON WATER HEATER AND REMOVED BY THE OCCUPANT I HAD ADVISED HIM TO CALL THE WEATHERIZATION AGENCY THAT ORDERED THE INSTALLATION DURING THE SECOND CALL AS WE DO NOT DIRECTLY STORE THE CLIENTS NAME IN OBSERVANCE OF PRIVACY CLAUSE
WITH THE AGENCY, IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE CLIENT TO PROVIDE THE DATE THAT WAS REMOVED SO WE CAN GO THROUGH OUR RECORDS, THE WEATHERIZATION AGENCY HAS EASY ACCESS TO THE INFORMATION,ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DETERMINE THAT DATE IS 6-28-WHICH WILL BE THE BASIS FOR ANY REPAIRS IN THE YEAR PERIODIN REGAURDS TO PILOT OUTAGES , DIRECT VENTED MOBILE HOME WATER HEATERS ARE PRONE TO OUTAGES CAUSED BY HIGH WINDS AND DO NOT REPRESENT ANY DEFECT IN THE EQUIPMENT AS THE PILOT LIGHTS HAVE BECOME VERY SMALL OVER THE PAST YEARS THAT I HAVE SERVICED EQUIPMENT, ICLUDED IN THE INSTALLATION AND CARE GUIDE INCLUDED WITH THE WATER HEATER IT DESCRIBES DIFFERENT POSIBILITIES FOR THE WATER HEATER TO BE UNABLE TO BE RE LIT NONE OF WHICH CAN BE DETERMINED WITH A WATER HEATER THAT LIGHTS NORMALLY AFTER THE OUTAGE.THERMOCOUPLES ARE EITHER GOOD OR BAD NO IN BETWEENTHERMOPILES WHICH ARE A DIFFERENT TYPE NOT FOUND IN RESIDENTIAL WATER HEATER CAN BECOME WEAKIN THE EVENT THAT THE WATER HEATER IS UNABLE TO BE RE LIT PRIOR TO 6-28-WE WILL SEND A TECHNICIAN OUT IN 24-HOURS OF THE CALL
