By law we do not pay state and local taxes on a room for a guest that has lived here for more than days in a quarterTherefore, I am not going to collect sales tax from a customer that I do not intend on paying to the state or local government

are well informed on our rate policy. I explained to Mr. [redacted] he signed a 7 day rate lease. The amount for 7 days breaks down to $31.41 a day. He wanted to check out 2 days early and receive the difference. I explained to him if I did that I would have to correct the previous 5 days to our daily rate. That amount is $50.16 per day for a total of $250.80. I told him if I did this then he would owe the remaining balance of $30.93 and this would be deducted from his deposit. All of our staff know how to charge a room and none of them would tell a customer on the phone that they would be prorated. Please see attached signed lease agreements.
