Copy of invoice with description of service
Reads "Found water leaking out of filter assemblyRemoved and replaced filter assembly & tubeReinserted the water lines at the valveUnit checks out ok." **The icemaker cycles water through the filter every time it produces ice so regardless if the customer did or didn't use the water dispenser on the front of the unit for the last days if it was a installation issue it would have leaked immediately after repair not after the water filter was changed.** Unless the customer is willing to pay a service call fee of 69.95+ tax we cannot diagnose this new problem

As our policy states a service call will provide an estimate for repairUpon arrival at said customers house we found the dryer needed its dryer baffles either tightened or replacedCustomer refused to pay for any additional labor so we could not repair unitCustomer was charged the service call
and called the office the next day demanding that we provide additional labor at no charge to her It was explained again that there would be a labor charge for the repair and that price was reduced to possibly allow for repairCustomer refused and belittled the call taker and office managerAt that point Northwest Appliance saw there would be no resolution that would not cost our company Time and Labor we would not be compensated for

The repair was completed on 7/The unit was tested and left in good working orderThen the customer calls on 11/after changing there water filter and says that unit leaks nowOur policy clearly stats all labor is guaranteed for day's and parts When the customer called she immediately
threatened the call taker and said "you don't want to mess with me"Our service call is good for days after completion so if there are any issues we can take care of it within that time frameAfter explaining this to the customer there was obviously no way to work out a amicable resolutionThere are several cases of appliance owners installing water filters incorrectly and there being a leakWe replaced the filter when it was repaired and it did not leakIf the customer is willing to pay a service call we can diagnose the problemWe have no lifetime warranty in our industry

Original estimate was approved prior to repairUpon process to repair unit other parts were found to be neededAgain est was approvedRepair required technicians to perform repairTalked with customer after repair and they were told we did not have paperwork yet and needed to call later when
we didAll estimates are quoted for parts labor and service call before and repair is madeWe do not work on a stop watch type of billing systemLabor is estimated for the time required on average for repairLabor for technicians is based of of a rateAs to the part in question again once power was restored additional parts were neededCustomer was made aware at all times

It was not tested The business's response is false There doesn't need to be a warranty in the service business to know when a company has done crappy work The refrigerator was purchased in Never had a problem until the leak in July Then they supposedly "fixed it," and it leaks again? When it wasn't used since July? Unacceptable

Again the unit was tested and also left in good working condition as the paper work indicatesThe unit did not leak until filter was changed incorrectly by customerdays parts and days on labor this was days past repair date so no free service can be performedThx

I am not paying AGAIN for something 1) I already paid for, and 2) that was done incorrectly!  We have not used the water filter since the repair was made.  It doesn't work.  2 + 2 = 4!  It isn't rocket science that your guy missed something.  I have changed water filters in that refrigerator FOR YEARS and have never done it wrong.  Flimsy argument.

Revdex.com, it is going to be up to you to take a stance here.  Take a look at their complaint history!  This guy is obviously a sheister.  Just because he said the unit was tested DOES NOT MEAN IT WAS.
