Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
The response provided by Northwest Cleaning Services is unacceptable for several reasons.
First, the amount in controversy was not addressedNorthwest Cleaning alleged that MrB*** completed $of work, which he did not Even if that amount were correct, he went on to state that he accepted an additional $for services yet to be provided together with a $tipThat means that Northwest cleaning contemplated $for services, plus the tipHowever, Ms*** paid MrB*** $for the job in questionAccordingly, on top of all of the work that was not completed, there was an over-charge of $If Northwest cleaning concedes that $should be returned, that amount is actually $total after the refund for over charging Ms*** together with the refund for additional work that Northwest Cleaning admitted to not completing
Second, the response does not address the contention that the job was incompleteMs *** can produce two witnesses that will state that the job was not completedMore specifically, that the outside of the windows were never washedMs*** and her witnesses state that MrB*** said he would clean the windows after he finished power-washing the driveway and other areasHowever, he did not come back around to finishingTherefore, even the $worth of services provided by Northwest cleaning was not completed.
Finally, MrB***'s response does not mention the broken screen and the injuries Ms*** sustained in trying to repair itThese are very serious problems that constitute a breach of contract Ms*** is again willing to accept $back for the incomplete services, the amount of over-charge and the other parts of the job that the business itself admits were never completed If further legal action has to be taken, Ms*** will also seek attorney's fees and other costs associated with this complaint. I have offered to refund [redacted] $170 which is the amount of the work that was not completed
 
On Saturday August 1st I cleaned [redacted] windows (inside and out) and did some other cleaning around her property.  This...

included washing her driveway, walkways, patio, and soffits.  This total was $600.00  There was some additional work that [redacted] wanted done that involved walking on steep roofs and required safety equipment that I did not have on hand that day. 
 
I told explained to [redacted] that if  I could do the extra work it would cost $150, but that I wasn’t sure I would be able to (due to the extra equipment that would be required) and that I would
[redacted] insisted on paying me the $600 (for completed work) + $150 (for the work that I was going to complete in 2 weeks if I could) + $20 tip.
 
A few weeks later  I called to let [redacted] know that I wouldn’t be able to do the extra work, but would quickly refund her money.  She became angry to the point that I could not continue the conversation with her.
 
On August 1st during the course of the cleaning [redacted] confided in me that she was on a heavy pain killers due to a recent surgery.  I think its possible this may ac[redacted] for the reason she doesn’t remember our original agreement.
