I am not disputing the teardown fee although taking a bumper off does not cost $500 I  have spoken to several body shops and all say $80-$150.
THe rental car was only 2 days and check engine light was on and had no gas I had to put gas. I returned the car on Sunday when I called to let them know that the dealership was fixing my car. Friday the day of the accident I told the owner that only the dealership or T&S auto will do anyh work. I called on Sunday so they should have worked on my car.  But my real issue is with the other charges. ok storage fee was $35 per day= $210 that is fine, the clean up fee $75 by the way the tow truck did not clean up anything but that fine too, the tow fee $160 is alright. But the $300 Preservation fee and $200 Administration fee. I have spoken with TDLR Terxas Department of Licensing and Regulations and they have advised on my nest step., I am not disputing the $500 tear down although that is outrageous and just bad business knowing that I wanted my brand new car back at the dealership. I feel they chose to tear it down and kept the car till Wednesday when we should have been able to get it Monday. I will continue to look into this with the help of TDLR, the insurance company.
