working. We did have our roof guy out to inspect and repair the ice damage to the valley of the roof. We explained to the client that it would be a while before a roofer could get there because there were literally thousands of these ice dams in the valley. We also explained that he should try to clear some of the snow and ice because the roofer cannot repair it until it is clear and dry anyway. Our roofer did make it out a few weeks later to do the repair. After that it was sheetrock work by the client that needed done. When I checked in sometime later to ask about the mitigation portion of the project, the client asked us to come out and do the sheetrock repair in the closet area because it required texture. Drywall companies in the valley have been booked about a month out all year, so we got on their schedule and had them come out. I am not sure what to say at this point. The client indicated the other day that he was still planning to do his own drywall in the garage, but I took a few photos anyway. I think it would be best if we invoice and close this one out but I am happy to talk to [redacted] again. I know this winter did not go smoothly for most homeowners or restoration companies in the valley. We did the best we could to handle everything possible based on level of emergency.
