Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: first, the business is incorrect in that they have tried to reach me several times They have Never returned my calls or attempted to reach meI have left five messages on Amber's voice mail s well as three messages for her with actual employeesShe has never called me backThey are correct that I have refused further surgery as I cannot afford it and was told it would be in addition to the initial contractThe $1,I am disputing was charged over-and -above the initial contract, which I paid over $6,for Billing initially told me that the additional charges were for 'tests' AFTER surgeryThat is why I am disputing only the $1,I want the $1,removedI also do not want my credit ruined over a charge that came after the initial surgery contractThey need to also address the fact that their surgeon, DrC***, specifically stated on August 25th, that I would not be charged a penny more than the initial contract charge. We are responding on behalf of the complaint submitted by one of our valued patients on approximately 07/12/to the Revdex.comWe send our sincerest apologies for the poor communication between our company and Puget Sound Collections that led to this issue for the patient.On March
20th, this patients’ guarantor (parent) was sent a statement for $from a visit with us in December of Again on May 8th, the patients’ guarantor (parent) was sent another statement indicating the account is seriously past dueThis account was over days old at this point.On 5/11/we received a payment for $from this patientThe reporting we use allows us to review all accounts internallyThis occurred prior to receiving Mr***’ paymentThe *** account was on that reportThe report was submitted to Puget Sound Collections on 06/27/17.We discovered the cross over once Mr*** called us to clarify he had received the letter from Puget Sound CollectionsImmediately we contacted Puget Sound Collections, and had the account removed from the Collection AgencyPuget Sound Collections has sent the family the attached letter indicating they were not sent to collections (see attachment template, not actual letter).As a further step in the interest of this situation Northwest Eye Surgeons has also sent the following letter to the patients’ father:August 14, 2017Dear Mr***,Re: RETRACTION NOTICE OF COLLECTIONSAcct: ***Due to a cross-communication with our current collections vendor, PSC, you have received an erroneous collections letter.We have corrected information in our system, and made note of this errorPlease disregard the notice from Puget Sound Collections.We are working to streamline our current collections endeavors to ensure this does not happen in the futurePlease accept our sincerest apologies on behalf of both Puget Sound Collections and NWES.Sincerely,NWES
