In regards to the complaint made by ShilohThe customer came in and asked for a price on replacing the transmissionWe never inspected the vehicleI gave her a price to remove and replace the transmission with a remanufactured unit which is completely rebuiltThe cost of the remanufactured transmission was out of her budget so she decided she was going to provide us with her own partsShe brought us a used transmission, transmission oil, transmission filter and two axle seals we didn’t provide any partsWe performed the work the customer asked us to do, after leaving she said that her transmission was leaking which was due to a defective axle seal which does happen from time to time since they’re made out of rubberIf we were to provide the parts everything would have been under warranty but since see bought her own parts we are not able to provide parts or labor warranty because we are unaware of the manufacture quality in which the part was madeShe was aware that there was no warranty verbally and it is also on the receipt.Please let me know if you have any other questions.?
