NORTHWEST PHILLIP'S 66. THE REPAIRS FOR THE VEHICLE WERE BETWEEN OUR COMPANY AND THE DEALERSHIP.WE GAVE A 90 DAY WARRANTY TO THE DEALER. THE CUSTOMER CAME WITH A COMPLAINT WE COULD NOT DUPLICATE. WE EXTENDED HIS WARRANTY OUT OF GOOD...

[redacted]. HE CALLED US STATING THE CAR WOULD NOT SHIFT. WE TOWED THE CAR OVER 60 MILES BACK TO THE SHOP AND FOUND IT WAS NOT TRANSMISSION RELATED. THE CUSTOMER REPAIR THE VEHICLE IN OUR PARKING LOT AND DROVE AWAY. THE ALTERNATOR WAS BAD CAUSING LOW VOLTAGE NOT ALLOWING THE CAR THE VEHICLE TO OPERATE PROPERLY. HE WAS NOT CHARGED FOR THE TOW OR TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. AT THIS POINT WE HAVE RUN OUT OF GOOD WILL FOR THIS CUSTOMER. HE IS BLAMING ALL THE PROBLEMS OF A HIGH MILEAGE USED CAR ON THE PEOPLE WHO REPAIRED IT PRIOR TO THE SALE. WE NEVER CHARGED HIM FOR ANY REPAIRS TO THIS VEHICLE. HE IS NOT ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS. PLEASE REMOVE THIS COMPLAINT.. THANK YOU
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2014/10/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
the issue was duplicated by [redacted] an employee there, I have documents showing they worked on the car when I brought it in and the issue was clearly duplicated. I also have text messages from both [redacted] and [redacted] verifying the issue. [redacted] now blames the issue on the transmission controller computer. I also do not understand how I am not their customer if the warranty through the dealership was transferred to me then because they could not fix the issue they extended my warranty. If my vehicle has a warranty with the company then I am their customer. The alternator has been repaired by a mechanic and the issue is still there. The transmission is slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear. This has been verified by both nissan and the mechanic who worked on my car. There is no reason for the complaint to be removed because I still have a 2 year warranty with his company and he refuses to replace a faulty slipping transmission. I request payment so I can go to another auto shop and have this fixed.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2014/10/14) */
THE VEHICLE WAS IN OUR SHOP SHIFTING THROUGH ALL THE GEARS. IS IT AT NISSAN NOW WITH A BAD TRANSMISSION? IS THE AUTOMOBILE DISABLED? WE ARE CONFUSED. THE AUTOMOBILE DROVE FROM OUR SHOP. THE AUTOMOBILE DROVE AT OUR SHOP. PLEASE FORWARD THE INFO OF THE SHOP THAT THIS CAR IS DISABLED AT. WE WILL CALL THEM FOR A DIAGNOSIS. OTHERWISE CLOSE THIS COMPLAINT UNTIL THE TRANSMISSION ACTUALLY FAILS AND WE REFUSE TO REPAIR.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I'm not going to wait for the entire transmission to fail when it's clearly slipping between gears. The is an obvious problem with the trans. Why would I want to wait for the entire trans to go out when it's in warranty now an may not be in warranty later? It's driveable but slipping. It's not working as it should and needs to be replaced. It's not working right right now so fix it before it gets worse. In fact I don't trust your shop to fix it because every time I get my car back it seems like something else is wrong with it. If you are going to fix it I want to be present while my car is there otherwise I would like to have nissan do it and your shop cover the costs since clearly you do not wish to fix my car.
